Great socks but...
These are great compression socks, well made and fits just right and the compression is super comfortable. However, for some reason I developed a serious skin allergy. I wish I could use them but after just a few minutes skin irritation was obvious. Sad because these are very nice socks. If you get the right size and your skin likes them, it's a great compression sock!!!

Very Impressed - Great Fit! - Great Cotton Blend Feel!
I ordered my first pair of Run Forever Socks early January 2017 (Black, size Large). I was very impressed with these socks! I have been on the "hunt" for the perfect compression socks for me since 12/2015. I have literally tried over a dozen different brands. Sometimes the foot area is too large, despite what is indicated on the size chart, or sometimes the foot fits, but the calf is just too tight, likely designed for people with slimmer calves. Often the fits is fine, but the fabric isn't very soft or moisture wicking. I really love wearing Run Forever socks! I wanted to wear and wash them a few times to get a complete opinion before reviewing. Here are some reasons these socks are my favorite and work so well:-- Soft and comfortable cotton blend feel - not too thick and bulky, not too thin either. So many compression socks have a synthetic, nylon feel - I often have to wear low-cut socks OVER the compression socks to be cool and comfortable in my shoes all day.-- The foot area of the sock fits my foot perfectly (I wear women's US size 11 1/2 athletic shoe/ EU 44 - 17" calf) - no extra heel area showing or heel pulled up to ankle area to fit comfortably in shoes.-- The sock comes right up to my knee where it should; no shortage in length, and more importantly, no excess to roll or fold over which causes excessive, uncomfortable tightness around top of calf.-- The socks remain right where I place them in the morning with no slipping or adjustments needed all day and evening until ready to remove for showering.-- I appreciate the fact that there are not any designs or logos woven into the calf area, just a clean, sleek, smooth appearance. The only thing I would like to see change, would be the added option to purchase a sock with firmer compression in the 30-40 mmHg range. I often want to wear maximum compression socks several times a week, so I am still on the lookout for a brand that works for me with an increased level of firmness.

Very comfortable but they will attract every hair on your floor
These are really comfortable and they do the job well. These 20-30mmHg definitely feel tighter than my 15-20mmHg, unlike other cheaper ones I've bought that were supposedly 20-30mmHg but were just as loose as my 15-20mmHg.The extra cushioning on the foot is a nice touch, but I took off a star because these things are like wearing a Swiffer. I'm astounded at how much time I've spent pulling hairs off the bottom, especially considering we have no pets, I swiffer my bathroom floor of hair daily, and I wear shoes inside the house most of the day. Also, the bottom became very "nubby" and pilled after just 1-2 days of wearing them with sneakers. Considering the price, it would be nice if they didn't look like I've had them for a year the first week I got them. Even the material in my cheaper 15-20mmHg socks still looks new after a year. Sadly, I haven't found 20-30mmHg in that material.

Excellent quality and design
Here is real quality and excellent design. These are far superior to any other compression hose I have ever had. I seem to recall that these were more expensive than others, but boy are they worth it. They are softer and thicker and smoother to apply. Not hard and smooth like others that take more effort to don. Using my crenelated rubber gloves, I could easily move (not work) these socks over my feet and ankles and both lower legs. They are very comfortable and cool.Having the toes, soles, and heels a different color than the rest of the stocking is brilliant. When using other all-black stockings, I find it is often difficult to maneuver the heel of the stocking onto my heel--it's all one color. I often have to make readjustments to get a proper heel fit, partly because the stretched heel is difficult to see during application when the fabric is being stretched. With the different colored marking, however, it is a snap to see and guide the stocking heel onto my heel with one easy movement. My new Run Forever Sports stockings are black with light grey toe, sole, and heel stitching. One problem: I ordered 20-30 mm Hg compression. However, the package holding the stocking gives no compression number. I'd hate to think that at least some of the ease of donning is because the compression of these stockings is less than 20-30. Is it possible these socks are made only for running and not also for therapeutic compression?

Nice socks but too tight for my husband
My husband had a knee replacement in January and the therapist recommended compression socks 20-30. I had ordered a size large as his shoe size is a 12. The foot portion didn't fit his foot. I exchanged them for an extra large so size up. However, the socks are so tight the swelling in his knee is not going down and there is an indentation where the top of the sock is. The therapist want him to discontinue wearing the socks as they aren't doing the job. I will be returning them. It may be my husband's wide calves; I don't know but they aren't doing the job of reducing his swelling. Thank you Amazon for taking these back and for the warranty from the manufacturer.

still perfect after a couple of years!
I work 12 hour shifts with most of the time on my feet. These socks are still perfect after several years of washing them. I do hang them to dry (never put in the dryer). They have retained their perfect fit! Highly recommend!
