20 stars? Yep
“One year later” review.Unbelievably amazing at a crazy good price. The last cover I had was by this company as well, and I dare say…I will never buy anywhere else as long as this is an option. My last one lasted years, leading me to repurchase a new color when it finally needed replacing.*Teal: I had the rose gold, but love the teal even more.*Durable: I *almost* returned the last one shortly after unboxing because it didn’t trick me as sturdy. I’m too clumsy to leave an iPad unprotected so I gave it a try. I’ve dropped these many times and it’s like the Duracell bunny that takes a licking and keeps on ticking. It is very sturdy!*Little tab on inside: look for it. That allows you to stand your iPad up. I thought it seemed flimsy, but a year later, it’s still as as new.*Use: I’m home a lot and my iPad is in every room I am. Up and down the stairs, opened for recipes in the kitchen or for playing music while I workout. Crammed into a backpack for long flights. I don’t even understand how it’s looking so good amd holding up so well after a ludicrous amount of carefree use.No chips: this is why I decided to do a follow up. I’ve dropped this a few times…no chips. iPad never fell out of the last one or this one.Pocket: there’s a little pocket and when I create new daily habit reminders or to do lists, I’ll slip them in, but honestly don’t really use the pocket too much.Pencil holder. This is the only not perfect element. The pen it will not stay that well. But I went ahead an sewed the elastic band to make it more snug and it works l8,e a charm. There are FAR too many positives to let this be a deterrent.Hand strap: I loved the idea but I personally just grab it and go so I can’t speak to this feature, but would think it’s handy for some folks.FYI: I paid full price both times. This is just me reviewing a product I love.

A Wonderful iPad Case
I use my iPad constantly. I have a disability which keeps me in a power wheelchair and I use my iPad for many, many functions. It is essentially my communication device and my entertainment and shopping resource. I use my iPad much more frequently than a television or book for either watching any video or reading. And I say all of the above to explain why I am hard on cases and need to replace them more frequently than average. This is the second Thankscase I have purchased. I got the first one when I purchased my latest iPad. The designs are beautiful and the material they are made from is durable and attractive. I always make sure my case can easily prop the iPad in a variety of standing positions. But my favorite feature of this case is how it lets you swivel the iPad in 360 degrees. I have never seen that feature in other cases. It is also quite sturdy and the iPad fits in with very easy placement. In addition to all of this the Thankscase is affordable. I don’t plan to purchase any other type of case. If I could afford it I would purchase several just to enjoy all the beautiful designs!

everything a case should be
This is everything I want in an iPad case:1) thin and light - other cases have more padding, but are bulky, heavy and annoying. This one is light, thin and doesn't add much bulk. But still provides more protection (front and back) than just a skin/sticker.2) great fit - my iPad snapped right in, no problem. I don't like the corner protection other cases have (again, more bulk), and this one has a thin, plastic backing that your iPad snaps into. Super easy and not bulky!3) extra features - there's an elastic holder for a stylus, a magnetic closure, a handle for keeping your iPad secure in your hand, two viewing angle grooves4) it spins! - I love that I can place my iPad on the table, and the case allows me to view it either vertically or horizontally. The viewing angle grooves work for both orientations.5) it's cute!

Almost Perfect
Pros:Pretty, Cheap (looks decent priced) -rose gold $8, & Feels slightly protective when compared to my trifold case. Feels a bit safer to throw it into my bag. Cover possibly made of light foam within. Doesn't feel like it adds any weight since there is not a lot of plastic. (weight is distributed evenly) somehow my trifold feels heavier although it's half it's thickness. This case Has a pencil holder that works + even if you have a short pencil grip on the top (However, may NOT work with a full pencil suit grip cover unless you force it in, but that will stretch out the elastic). The magnetic closure is pretty tight. It can get in the way when the tablet is open on landscape, but you can peel it back and attach the magnet behind to keep it out of the way. When the cover is closed it still can fit a pencil with full grip suit on (outside of the elastic but tucked between the ipad and the strong magnetic closure tab). If you don't have any grip on your pencil the elastic pencil holder is good. you can keep the pencil in there when you close the cover or even when the case is open and in use. This cover Includes 2 useful landscape standing angle & 1 portrait stand view (STURDY-even when I highlight with my pencil pushing the screen it doesn't collapse like my trifold case). Cutouts are all perfect. Can use camera and charge ports without issue. There is also a little strap handle to hold your tablet when the cover is fully open -folded back. + a small slot to put card, emergency cash or small note in there. Very efficient case. Almost perfect!Cons:1) Extra bulk, like 2x the size of one of those 3 fold case. 2) NO smart cover function 3) Worse of all, I hate that the plastic piece that holds the ipad! It is a VERY cheap hard plastic that snaps the ipad in place (I feel like it scratches my ipad edges whenever I take it out, or put it on..... I like to change covers every while since this is kinda bulky) It also feels like I can bend my ipad & break it when I try to pull it out because it is a struggle!!Conclusion: Very efficient case. However, Since it might scratch your ipad edges, I'd only suggest this case to you if you're a stick to one case type of person or if you don't care if your ipad edges are scratched up with a chance to bend the ipad if you're carelessly forcing it out. With all that said, the only thing it's missing is a keyboard..but for this price, this case totally deserves 3.8 stars. If only the case holder had soft edges like my trifold cover...+ Smart function

The tab that holds my iPad in place is the greatest .
I love this case , Excellent quality . The thing I love the most is this case has a tab in the ridge so it holds my IPad secure with no slipping . The best for sure

Looks great however the main complaint is that when you close the cover more often than not, the iPad doesnt go into sleep mode therefore draining the battery unbeknownst to the user. Quite frustrating and when you put the ipad in say a back pack , the shuffling of the contents in the bag may inadvertently turn on the ipad even if the cover is closed and the magnetic strap closure is used. Major defect...
