Looks a bit different when arrived - it has extra "ears" on the inner part of it with holes in them. I guess it's to fasten the cover with screws, which I didn't need, but they break off easily, so I installed the cover as shown on pictures. ***Not babyproof! Opens easily.*** Not completely waterproof - there is a gap on top of the cover between the frame and lid to open and close it to use the socket. So useful for occasional drops of water - in my case, a socket is close to a kitchen sink, so I need to protect it from the water droplets when washing my dishes from the right side (not the top). But if your socket is, for example, besides the washing machine and lower than the hose, then there is a possibility for some water to leak inside if the hose bursts.

One baby (9 months) figured it out on the first day, the other is still studying it… after taping over the sides, the first one couldn’t make it budge… overall, helps you get where you need to, for the time being…

I bought this waterproof cover hoping to protect our wall switches from moisture and curious little hands. Unfortunately, my 8-month-old baby was able to easily remove it, which defeats the purpose entirely. Definitely not secure or child-safe. Would not recommend if you need extra protection from toddlers.

My one year old was able to take off the cover on her first attempt. The cover just sticks to wall along the boundary which is not sufficient. Overall not satisfied with the product.
