Great chasinsaw. Highest power for the price of a "good" chainsaw
This replaces a cheap Chinese chainsaw. This is lighter and more power. Although this was three times the prices, it is worth it. It can take up to a 28" bar It has a k095 tail. Oregon makes one. It might struggle a little bit, but the engine is pretty beefy. I had an old 50CC Makita chainsaw circa 1998. I loved that saw. When I decided what to get, I was biased towards Makita, but I have over hundred dead ash trees to remove. All more than 18" in diameter, with the biggest at 34". When I compared this saw to Husqavarna and Stihl, they had nothing in that matched the specs or price of this. This was by far the best bang for the buck. I looked at weight, chain speed, and HP. I have also bought a 24" bar, and a 16" bar. This saw is the same saw as the Dolomar PS6100. Dolomar makes this saw.I would recommend NOT buying this saw for light duty work or occasional use. This saw is more powerful and it if it kicks back it is a lot more to deal with than a less powerful saw. You would likely never use this as a professional saw, and there more make sure you only buy low kickback chains. This is a serious piece of equipment. I would not buy this unless you have a 100 hours chainsaw use. I have been using a chainsaw for 30 years.UPDATE: This saw is still great. 50 plus tress cut and there are many more to go. This is a work horse and punches way about its weight. It is almost as good as my neighbors $1200 saw.

Makita ea6100p
Saw was new in an unopened box. It runs and cuts so much better than any of the other 20 or so chainsaws I’ve used in the past. This is a powerful chainsaw. If this is your first chainsaw be careful with it and follow the instructions in the users manual on how to cut with it. Especially the parts about cutting with the tip.

Best Chainsaw I've Ever Used!
Worth the money, powerful, easy to assemble and maintain.Note that it is easy to flood at first start, so just pump the fuel bell until it is full, full choke for two pulls, then "run position" on choke for the rest of the pulls. If it remains stubborn, just pull the trigger down (brake on) and it will start after just a few more pulls (don't putz with pulling out the spark plug...the trigger method works fine). Just be sure to remember: just TWO pulls in full choke, then open up the choke to run position and start with just another couple of pulls, or trigger to get it going if it's really cold.Loud, so get PPE for hearing/visor/hardhat. There's an Oregon product on Amazon that does that. Keep the saw sharp with an Oregon dremel sharpener, 7/32" and 30 degree angle. Easy to maintain otherwise, easy to tighten/switch chain or bar. Incredible customer service.

Bad to the bone
This thing will tote the mail. Used it to clear out a bunch of big oaks where I was building. With a sharp chain you can do whatever you want.If you're using it commercially you may need a bigger one with a longer bar but for home owners and normal farm use its great. I think I prefer it over Stihl.

high quality made by dolmar germany
i run 2 of these. 24 inch bars/full wrap handles. they run strong all day and are a clean burning reed valve stratified 2 stroke. they take husky k095 small mount bars.

Very powerful and easy starting
Very easy starting due to its delayed timing during startup. An probably the easiest I've ever started with plenty of power no toy!

Second then Third Use and No Start
Update - Well on the third attempted use..... the saw will not start; I will update my review after the saw returns from the service center. I did finally get the saw started for it's second use; I had to let it sit for a time and try it again. Still a lot of pulling on the cord.Well I spent a lot of money on what I thought was a good saw and on the second use the saw will not start.
