Perfect for a beginner!
I am learning how to spin my own yarn, and this is perfect for a beginner. The board is very sturdy, and the brush is small, but it works perfectly. I am starting off by carding some of my yarn stash to recycle it. I am making solid color bats with this board, then I will eventually blend colors and make bats or rolags for spinning.

Perfect blending board set for the hobbyist
Perfect size to learn on, use for hobbies. While it may not look as sturdy as other higher priced brands, this is perfect for my use, and I've used it a lot since purchasing over a year ago.

Very nice blending board
I'm new to using this type of item and looked to YouTube to get instructions and tips. I'm using this for blending fibers to needle felt embellishments for scarves and hats. It's been fun to use the board for varying results. I'm hoping to go onto spinning from the rolags and batts created but I'm not there yet (since I need to build up a stash of fibers to work with). Practice makes perfect and I look forward to using this board for years to come to create beautiful fibers.

Nice price, works well.
This is the first time I've used one of these. I like the price and it works for me. The only thing I wish it had was a small stand. But for the price I can deal with it! The flicker/carder brush works great with this. I had a hard time getting the rolags off. But I'm updating this to say that the more I use it, I have learned that I can't roll the fiber off with a lot of tension, that's what made the rolags hard to get off the sticks. I'm also updating my rating to 5 stars because it's working great for me, I can't find any fault in it. Spinning is an expensive hobby....I'm thrilled I could buy this at a great price.

I was dubious, but not anymore!
I was not expecting this to work as well as it does. I’ve looked at fiber blending boards before and they’re typically $100-150+. So seeing this on amazon for like $30, I was sure it would be a return. However, I am stoked to say I was totally wrong! It comes with zero instruction, but YouTube is a thing, and honestly it creates fun rolags easily. The brush is a little odd cause you have to use it handle up and brushing down, but it’s a small learning curve and you’ll have fiber ready to work with sooner than you think.

Great Blending Board
I'm 6 months into wet felting and recently discovered carding. My local yarn store introduced me to the blending board which sold for almost $200. As something of a beginner, that price was out of my range. This affordable little gem is the exact same size, nicely made, and works great for my needs (I blend roving into batts that I felt).Perhaps if I had years of experience I might think this one is cheap? I can't imagine that tho because it looks/seems every bit as quality as the one I saw at the store. I would absolutely buy this again if needed or for a gift.Arrived quickly in a brown box- no padding, but everything was great!
