A 4.5 overall rating for LInux Mint 21. 2 xfce edition!
I had an old Lenovo G560 laptop running Windows 7 lying around in the house. It was just too slow to boot and obviously unable to update anymore even to Windows 10. Wanting to recycle and use it for light desktop work, internet searches and watching youtube tutorials I thought of running the lightest version of LInux I could find. Linux Mint 21.2 xfce was perfect! Installation was a breeze and the old clunky Lenovo G560 was running like new. (well, almost!) Anyway, everything was working fine, (display, sound, wi-fi, etc) except that I found out it didn't have bluetooth! I really wanted to use my old wireless keyboard and bluetooth speakers with it. So search for bluetooth adapters i did on Amazon. There were several like the TP-link bluetooth 4.0 (which I read was very reliable) but I didn't want to spend more than $10. So I dug further in the reviews and found this gem! It was only a little more than $5.00. Reviews were varied both good and bad, but I thought it was worth a shot for the cheap price! So I jumped the gun, bought it and plugged it in as soon as i got it. Installation was smooth, Mint 21.2 immediately detected it and saw all the bluetooth devices in my network! I did have to connect to the bluetooth adapter and reboot a few times (2-3 times) and after that everything was working like a charm! I'm one happy camper! Thank you Amazon and Premiertek!

Cheap device, didn't give me BLE connectivity like I was hoping for, errored out on Windows 11
I was looking for BLE connectivity for my hearing aids. This device does not work on my Windows 11 computer. Windows always fails to install the driver. I tried installing the driver from the website but it failed as well.

Plug and play with Linux Mint 21.2
Finally! I have finally found a working bluetooth module for Linux! The one I had previously worked sporadically, this one just works. I plugged it in and immediately saw the bluetooth icon appear at the lower right (by the time) and I opened it up, searched for my BT speaker, and boom it appeared. I clicked connect and bam it connected and yes my audio is being ported through my speaker. THANK YOU Premiertek! YASSSS! It works. Now, if Premiertek has aux cables they are willing to sell me for a reasonable price that WON'T break after a few months of consistent use - that would be great. I have no idea what else they sell, but this BT adapter JUST - WORKS.I haven't attempted any more connections than ONE. It says it can handle 5 connections at once. I don't have a need to connect more than one BT speaker. Is that what that would be used for?Oh, cute. They also included a miniature CD driver disk in the package. I don't have a working DVD/CD drive to see what's on it.

It Works
I'm docking one star because the driver CD was bad. Downloads from Premeirtek's site are fast though.

Awesome Range
I used this for my cameo pro because they ones they put in those systems don't have that many range so I would highly recommend buying this for any of the Bluetooth Cutter. This is the exact adapter for them so nothing else.

Raspberry Pi Audio to BT-Headphone not supported
I have a Raspberry Pi (Allo Digital Audio Bridge) for streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones, in my case HiFiMan Ananda BT's. The Raspberry Pi Audio Bridge has two USB-2.0 connections for Wifi and/or Bluetooth, but unfortunately impossible to pair with this transmitter, whereby the description clearly states 'Raspberry Pi' and 'headphones'. It became evident that this would not work when I looked at the legacy 3.5" micro floppy disk (?) with the PDF setup instructions, intended solely for Computers, and using a Windows 7 PC as an example. The BT transmitter is extremely inexpensive and I don't care about $5, but the description led me to believe that it would work with Raspberry Pi audio transmitting to BT headphones - impossible. The description needs to be changed to clearly state "compatible with "PC's", not audio equipment based on Raspberry Pi of which there is a lot, the lion's share. The description states "works on all Raspberry Pi models". Which "models"?

Plug & Play with Zorin Core (Linux)
Excellent sound and range. Pause/RW/FF work on my Skullcandy Uproar headphones. This is why it's good to go with an Ubuntu based distro like Zorin. Stuff is more likely to work.

Did not work
I bought this to use at work as we switched to an online phone system. It would not pair with the computer and needed sketchy driver downloads. I should have returned it.

Plug & Play no Linux
Cumpre o prometido, recomendo.
