My MacBook keyboard stopped working on keys 1-9 and some letters. I took it up to Geek Squad at Best Buy (other places, including Apple had a wait time of MONTHS due to Covid). Best Buy showed me what to buy on Amazon for a new keyboard and they would install it. Took about two days but a fast turn around over all. The key boad looks like the one that originally came with my macbook. it still lights up, lays flat, everything looks. i am very happy with the purchase..... i did hear from the tech that it is a a tendinous process with many many screws- not for someone (like me) that doesnt know how to work computers.

This is an exact replacement for vintage 2011 MacBook Pro computers. These were great computers and replacing their parts with good quality parts extends their life even further.

It works. It does not feel like a MAC quality keyboard, but works. It you have never opened a laptop, this replacement is not for you. You have to disassemble all the insides of the laptop. There are a lot of connectors and a lot of small screws. Keyboard easily has 40 micro tiny screws. Patience and good screw drivers are a must. The battery screws are a proprietary type screw, it is super cheap but you want it. One thing that was surprising was the torque many of these screws had, it was excessive. The backlight works, although I don't think the keys are translucent. The key feel a bit weird, so that is why I give it 4 stars.

This replacement keyboard works great. The MacBook Pro that I put it in feels and looks newer. The old keys were sticky and the power button did not work. This keyboard fixed all of my problems.

This didn't fix my initial keyboard issue. Some keys are nonresponsive when struck; it's very annoying. Zero accuracy when typing now

This part worked perfectly, great quality. No issues at all, looks identical to the OEM keyboard. That said, I have been in the tech repair business for 10 years, and I can say with all honesty this is not a repair that first timers want to try on their own. Highly intricate repair process. Just FYI.

The first keyboard they sent out didn’t work but these guys stood behind their product and sent out a replacement quickly. They were very helpful and prompt at responding to questions. This keyboard will work for you. You just need to have the patience to go through the process of removing 80 tiny screws.

This saved our old MacBook. fit great and does the job for a great price. However, the backlighting is quite a bit darker. I would consider using the original backlighting but I don't want to go through the hassle of disassembling the computer again. It'll do
