Die Schneiden sind extrem scharf und so lässt sich ganz feiner Draht (bei mri 0,18mm) exakt schneiden ohne das etwas ausfranst. habe ich so noch nie gesehen udn habe von Knipex bis Modelbauwerkzeug alles versucht. Wie lange die Qualität anhält wird sich zeigen.

The first Xuron product I got was their split ring pliers, and those worked through about ten thousand flat split rings and are still going strong. Needless to say I was very impressed. The scissors boast the same excellent quality. Note that these are not long shears style scissors, they are short but extremely sharp and very handy for smaller things that require precision. Notably it's sharp out to the very tip, and so ships with a clear rubber cap to protect the tips when not in use. Very thoughtful. The design is such that you can cut very close to the fulcrum to maximize mechanical advantage. These things make perfect little cuts in my leather cord- no fraying, no trouble. Zip! Right through. Like cutting through cotton. Another easy five stars, very well thought out tool.

Xuron's bread and butter is tiny tools, stuff meant for precision and delicate work. They did a fantastic job with these! The shears cut very well and the joint is tight enough (while still allowing easy operation) to keep it that way as long as they aren't abused. It's not entirely apparent in the photos but these are actually spring-loaded as well, which I prefer. Finally the handles are a good design in my view though it's subjective to each person's tastes, but I like them. And they're made in the USA in Saco, Maine, if that's important to you. It seems uncommon for manufacturers to name city and state of where they're made these days but Xuron still does it and I don't know why, but I really enjoy that as well.
