Q: Is there a mount for this size tank??

I'm certain there is under "RV parts". There are mounts for 20# tanks. A friend made one out of a 2x6 and velcro straps, has never list the tank into years.

Q: what is the oldest manufacuring date on a tank that a new unit would be shipped to a customer? I want 12 years of use.

They are new tanks. They should not be that old. Mine was 4 months old when I got it.
