great inovative product!
I purchased this for use in my professional Tri-amped PA system to replace another standard 15amp rackmount power distro. This Pyle piece has AC breakouts that will accomodate twice the number of devices AND those allow for plugging wall wart power supplies without any of the normal hassles those cause AND it has (3) additional Edisons on the front for easy access AND the USB charger port on the front - very convenient for our IPad or phones. Love this piece....works well..and engineered well!!! Thank you!

Good product
I purchased this as a rack power strip solution largely because of the form factor and the plugs on the backside.Lovely little device. Can't say I've tested it for the purposes of clean power to audio equipment, but that's a rather difficult thing to test. One plus side is that you're unlikely to run out of outlets considering the unit has 19 in total.Pros :- Sturdy Construction- Easy access for plugging in unsightly wall warts- USB power port on the frong- Easy access fixed position outlets on the frontCons :- A little expensive, but this is meant as a power conditioner. Not necessarily needed in a networking environment unless you're like me with awkward wall wart plug ins.

Perfect Solution with a Minor Issue
The Pyle 19 Outlet 1U 19" Rackmount PDU Power Distribution Supply Center Conditioner Strip Unit Surge Protector (PCO860) is an impressive product that brilliantly solves the problem of connecting large-sized power connectors without sacrificing any outlets. However, there is one minor issue that needs attention: the extended Rack ears.Let's start with the positives. This power distribution unit is a game-changer when it comes to efficiently managing power supply in a rackmount setup. With 19 outlets and a 15FT cord, it provides ample space and flexibility to power multiple devices simultaneously. The built-in surge protector and 15 Amp circuit breaker add an extra layer of protection, ensuring the safety of your valuable equipment. Moreover, the inclusion of a USB multi-device charge port is a thoughtful addition that adds convenience for charging gadgets. The standout feature is the smart design that prevents the loss of outlets due to bulky power connectors. This has been a significant pain point for many users, and this PDU offers an elegant solution to that problem. Now, onto the drawback, the Rack ears that come with the unit seem to be too extended, causing an issue with fitting. However, don't let this dissuade you from purchasing the product. Thankfully, it's a minor problem that can be easily remedied by replacing the Rack ears. Simply unscrew them and get a suitable replacement from Amazon or a hardware store, and you're good to go.In conclusion, the Pyle 19 Outlet 1U 19" Rackmount PDU Power Distribution Supply Center Conditioner Strip Unit Surge Protector (PCO860) is a must-buy for anyone dealing with numerous power-hungry devices in a rackmount environment. The advantages of this product far outweigh the easily fixable issue of the Rack ears. So, if you need a reliable and efficient power distribution solution, this PDU is an excellent choice.

No more hum!
Just a little background: I have two audio systems (5.1 and stereo) as well as 3 gaming consoles, a Roku, a Blu-Ray player and so on. I have a lot of ancillary devices that make up my av system, and they're split between two very good surge protectors.A few months ago my audio systems started developing a typical 60hz hum out of nowhere, like a grounding issue. It was coming from all speakers, including the subwoofer. It was driving me up the wall. I checked the outlets with a device that shows me if the outlet was grounded or not, and they were (I had checked before I plugged the power strips into those outlets long ago anyway). Unplugging and replugging everything didn't get rid of the hum, and I was at my wit's end. I wasn't looking forward to spending the money on a power conditioner because typically they're pretty pricey and don't have a lot of outlets. Well, this one had good consumer and professional reviews and the price was right, so I figured I didn't have anything to lose. This power conditioner works very well: the hum is completely gone now. I mounted it on the back side of my entertainment center with a couple of L-shaped brackets with the outlets dangling below it. You can't see it, but I can reach behind there and turn it on or off or to reset the circuit breaker easily. It can be mounted to a wall the same way. Those little outlet extensions are great too; they give you a lot of flexibility to fit in power adapters.Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and I would recommend this power conditioner to others for sure.

Not well made, exceptionally bad design.
Ok so when you receive a product that basically is a power distributor at the tune of 15 amps that has structural problems it doesn't fill me with much hope for the inner workings. As you can see in the photos the rack screw holes on the rack ears are space woefully wrong. The entire casing at the top is bent upwards with very poor structural integrity and BTW this also caused a problem with fit in the rack. The ears are off and not lined up with the unit. There is no way to tighten the casing or adjust the ears.I've seen other customers say this doesn't change the function of the unit. I don't completely agree with that. In my lifetime this kind of poor craftsmanship leads to problems down the road.I'll repost and up-edit if I'm wrong. It's really a shame because it's a great idea
