I bought this to help organize my laundry room. It was easy to put together, all pieces aligned properly and it wa since and straight when it was all put together. Ours did arrive with two very small dings in the finish but not worth returning especially because no one will see them. It’s sturdy enough for what we’re using it for and it’s very nice and aesthetic. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

I was looking at a similar ladder shelf on another website for $50 more for my home office and I’m so glad I went with this one! It’s sturdy and looks great in the space. It was a bit of a pain to assemble, not because it was complex, but trying to make sure everything was lined up perfectly was a challenge (I did it alone). There are a few small imperfections (tiny chips in the paint, screw covers don't insert cleanly), but nothing major or enough for me to send it back (or knock a star off).

This shelf is stylish and sturdy. I purchased one of these when I bought a new home about a year ago. It fit perfectly in a small unused area of the kitchen. The wife liked it so well, I had to buy another one. I like the way it looks and it can handle some pretty heavy stuff. I would have no reservations about buying another one. I may have to get a bigger house.

I like the end result of it but the top wouldn't let me put the nails in properly but it's not noticeable. It was hard for me to put together but I was doing it by myself and it probably would have been quicker if it was someone more skilled with putting stuff together or if I had asked for help. Overall it looks great and I can't wait to make it a snacks shelf for visitors.

I ordered the gray one (I was originally going to buy black but they were sold out) because it was next on my list that will blend well with my living room color. I'm definitely happy with the result.Putting them together was pretty easy to be honest. I usually hate how manual can be a bit tricky with knowing which is correct side of the pieces but this manual was totally easy to understand. It probably took me 30 minutes to put them together alone.The result is amazing! I have attached a picture of "before" and "after" of what my corner looks like!I will be buying another one of this in gray (I don't care if the black one is back in stock. I'm in love with the gray one) for the other side of my living room! I'm excited!

Terrible instructions. Holes are not designed for the sizes. We had to drill a few to fit dowels. We also had 2 of the hex screws break off in the wood. The holes on the sides , 7, were not lined up to go with the shelf’s and screws. It was use the holes and put it on weird like we did, or drill the holes where they go and have the spots they put the holes showing. It took us hours to put this together, 2 of us. I may undo it and try it the other way as this looks dumb having the front not flat on the floor and the top shelf is unable to sit flat or be screwed. He wants me to throw it out and go buy one put together, that may also happen instead.I was so excited for this shelf and am so disappointed in it and the fact I spent so much on it. Definitely would not recommend. Feel like I am out so much time and money.

I have yet to leave a review on Amazon but hopefully this will help those unsure of making the purchase based on some of the other reviews.First of all, after ordering on a Thursday afternoon, the package magically appeared the next morning, shipped from halfway across the country even though the estimated shipping time was several days more.I was hesitant to buy the shelf based on some reviews of difficult assembly and parts not fitting, but was looking for something exactly like this and there were not many alternatives. The package came neatly organized with very clear instructions, with parts labeled and shelf pieces numbered and lettered. The instructions were very clear and step by step, all parts were there, all holes were drilled, and all I needed was a regular Philips screw driver to assemble. Having a hammer could also be useful for some of the wood pegs that hold the shelves in, but not necessary as I used the blunt side of the screwdriver and carefully tapped them in where needed.In less than an hour the shelf was fully put together and my 4yr old son enjoyed helping Dad find the right parts that were lettered along the way. It could probably be assembled in half the time if you are in a hurry and have an extra hand, but easy to assemble on your own as well. The instructions include very clear directions at every step. While some earlier reviewers noted some pieces not having all the holes drilled, I did not experience that with any of the pieces and it was very easy to work with.Once assembled, the build quality well exceeded my expectations for the price. The shelf is very sturdy, finish is high quality, and I use it for display of many heavier glass pieces for which it has no problem holding. I have only had it up for a week and it has gotten many compliments. If you were looking for something like this at a good value you will not be disappointed.

This shelf was excellent quality, and exactly what I expected. A little tricky to put together, but not too bad.

I am really happy with my purchase. We needed a shelf to go next to our tv that wale hung on the wall. The shelf was easy to set up and looks great. No complaints!

Upon opening the box for this product after gently carrying it into my house, I saw that 3 of the wooden beams were splitting in half. I unwrapped the plastic in hopes that maybe the cracks were just an appearance issue that I could fix myself, and once I took them out they completely split in half, along with a few other beams. This product is very cheaply made and packaged, especially for the amount of money you're paying, and I am unable to return it because of the shards of wood that are left everywhere. I am hoping I will get a refund but it seems unlikely looking at the seller's policy. Would recommend just going to IKEA and buying a bookcase there - cheaper and won't be damaged. Very disappointed.
