Two years ago, at the age of 57, I started to get symptoms that a doctor though I might have a prostate infection. So, I was put on strong antibiotics which seemed to subside the issues for a while, but only to return. So, I put up with it for a while until I decided I needed to see a different doctor as I was becoming more concerned with my symptoms.The new doctor felt it was a normal course for us men for our prostates to enlarge. He recommended me to try some over the counter (popular) brands of supplements to help with the symptoms. He also suggested that if they didn’t work then he’d put me on a popular proscription med FloM.. to help with my prostate issues. To be honest I don’t like taking prescription drugs unless necessary, so I decided to research it and look for a solution that made more sense.After researching the issue, I discovered that the most popular products such as ProstaG… have numerous additives such as vitamins and other supplements as well as Beta Sitosterol which is in very small amounts. For one, I already take vitamins, so I don’t need to take more. It didn’t make any sense to invest in a product that contains more items than what I really need for my prostate concerns.This is when I researched Beta Sitosterol and what it really is. After looking at different supplements that only contained Beta Sitosterol, I decided on Natures Craft. This product seemed to have good reviews and results.I purchased a 90-pill bottle with the idea that if one bottle didn’t have an effect then I’d try another.For me I’d rather take less than more to see what changes I would experience. I will say it wasn’t an immediate change nor did I expect it to be overnight based on my research.After taking 60 pills I can say that I did notice my symptoms changing for the better. So, I continued with the product. I then ordered another bottle just before running out. When I ended the first bottle, I decided to stop taking it for a week to see if I noticed any changes. By the end of the week, I did start to notice my symptoms although very mild did begin to return. I’m now on my second bottle and will continue taking Natures Craft Beta Sitosterol.On a side note. During my researched I noticed that Beta Sitosterol has been linked to preventing hair loss. Some years ago, I started the typical hair loss from the crown of my head and minor thinning from the crown to my front bangs. My wife has confirmed as she cuts my hair that the thinning area has stopped, and it appears that I’m growing hair at the crown. Now I’m not saying that I have a full head of hair at the crown as I did in my twenties, but it does seem to have stopped the loss.

Easy to take. Pills are not very big and are easy to swallow. Product seems to comply with advertising.

Came as displayed. Packaging secure. Security label was sealed protected pills until opened.So far so good. As far as effectiveness I’ll know when I have my labs done.

I am a woman with urinary problems...easy UTIs, urgency, frequency, little flow etc. I suppose some of you know what I am talking about especially when you start timing your day as to where/when you'll be "going". I'm not a medicine-taker so I've used homeopathic solutions to all these problems and supplements like D-Mannose and Cran-Max with uva ursi and dandelion tea. Recently I was experiencing another "bout" with urgency and little flow and decided that something must be missing...something which can help me more. Then I found beta sitosterol! I queried "beta sitosterol for women" and this Nature's Craft product came up and I decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting THAT much of a change but my life is DRAMATICALLY better since I started taking a capsule a day. I barely wake up at night now. I don't have a constant "gotta go" type of feeling. My "flow" is better and I actually can hold it without feeling urgency. Amazing! I tried another brand (Source Naturals) which did not work as well (they have a horse pill). Nature's Craft Beta Sitosterol is what I'll stick to for all the days of my life. I just wish they sold a multi-pack for those of us who can't go a day without it!Lowering cholesterol and growing new hair are also benefits listed but I haven't really noticed too much hair growing after almost 2 months...maybe that's yet to kick in.****After using the CAPSULE version of this for over a year, they switched to TABLET with a totally different ingredient list. My feeling is that the manufacturer did not tell their customers. Even when I emailed them, they pretended the ingredients were the same. This is unacceptable and, by the way, the tablets do not work (or maybe work half as good). I don't know but I returned the unopened bottles and will never order this version of beta-sitosterol again!

Quality supplement. Been using about two years with complete success.

Not sure if this is working for cholesterol or not because I have not gotten blood work done. But I will NOT be buying it again as the supplement contains big tablets instead of capsules. I knew about the tablets when I purchased it but didn't know that they would be so big.

I've been taking this for a week. By the third day it reduced my nighttime trips to, um, liquidate my assets, from about every 2 to 2 1/2 hours to 3 to 3 1/2. I hope it does even better with more time, but even if this is as good as it gets it's still progress, and so far at least without any side effects.
