I bought the IPL #52 glasses to use with my ULIKE Air 3 Home IPL device. The folding glasses that came with the device were…sufficient. But the light was still quite bright and I couldn’t help but worry about my retinas after each use. These glasses are so much better, for a few reasons. 1-they are tinted yellow, which provides way more visibility than the black ones. 2-they stay on better and don’t leave marks on my nose. 3-the light never hurts my eyes, even when I accidentally lift the device while it’s flashing. I still wouldn’t look directly at it, but it’s much easier to use when I don’t have to look away for each flash. I am not a laser safety expert, but I appreciate keeping my vision and can feel the difference. I’m very happy with my purchase!

If your looking for pretty fashionable Laser protection glasses, these are probably not the ones that you want. They are grey, very grey and the grey color is muted in this picture. I sent mine back because I no longer needed them but would have kept them and used them if I did. I like the price point and the thick sides for added eye protection, without the costliness of paying for lenses on the sides too.

Durable, good fit, light weight and offer good protection for use with blue/led laser.

With these lens I've not had any signs of exposure with my home CO2 unit. I run a fusion at work and have experienced some reflection exposure that was very bothersome. For any reviews mentioning "placed under beam, melted right through", that's not the intent of this ppe... so unless your trying to get a straight on look at your beam, or engraving in a house of mirrors I'm at a loss for words...

These fit great, they cover the entire eye area without falling off, and they block the light. I really like these.

Here's the thing, if you're buying protective eyewear for daily use where your eyes are at risk, you probably shouldn't be buying from Amazon - go to a reliable laser supplier where you can get documentation that you're not going to burn a hole in your eyeball. Now, if you're getting these for occasional use and for "I'll probably be fine and won't start directly at the laser anyway" levels of protection, then these seem to do the trick. I have used them with a diode laser that these supposedly filter and I have trouble finding the laser dot when in use - so they sure seem to be filtering that out.
