This is a great saw!
I was originally trying to find saw blades for an Xacto handle but eventually came across this little guy. Even though it’s not an extra fine blade I can’t say enough about the quality of it and how well it cuts. The blade is thin but not flimsy in any way and it’s very sharp. It cuts through wood and pvc pipe quickly and it’s easy to stay on the mark. I would highly recommend purchasing it for your hobby needs. BTW, I am not a paid endorser and did not submit my review as part of any kind of kickback program or the like. I’m a fine artist and I actually use this saw for some of my work projects.

Very Sharp and well made
Comfortable to hold, blade width .027" with a kerf width of about .029". Height of blade at the narrow part is .20" at the tip and .30" as it starts to widen. Length of that section of the blade is 2". Because its a pull saw, there is little danger of bending the blade, but it makes it a little trickier for cutting curves. I am using it to cut 1/8" birch plywood and it works great. 18 teeth per inch.

Effective for small size
It worked perfect for my need to saw off a small piece of hard plastic. The small size made it handy and easy to use. The only set back was the paper cover for the blade. So I wrapped some tape around the paper cover to make a more durable sheath.

Nice Saw for hand work
Art in bamboo with 2 to 4 mm cuts. Was expected a bit more from Japanese style pull saw. Blade too thick and not fine toothed. difficult to start marker cut. Good for rip cut, good handle grip.

Real thick blade compared to other Japanese saws
This is a nice compact pull saw, but the blade is very heavy duty with the width of a western crosscut saw. It's maybe over 1/16" thick and quite short cutting stroke. I'm not sure of the reason for the amount of thickness in such a compact saw and perhaps I don't know the exact purpose of it.It works good for getting into spots you Normally can't reach, and cuts on the pull stroke, there's only a couple inches of teeth so many short strokes are needed to cut through something like a 1/4" dowel.Great compact saw which in all other regards is of good quality
