Bottom line up front:JMCUHYD Pneumatic Cylinder Can Crusher - Great product! I was hesitant about buying a this can crusher as it would take approximately 165lbs of cans to recoup its cost. Once I figured in my "time invested", this device pays for itself quickly; not to mention it turns a chore into fun.Review:Piston and actuator function flawlessly. I crushed approximately ~325 cans the very first day with no problems, expect an occasional hangup of a crushed can which is easily resolved by manually removing said can.Pro:- Easy to assemble (tools provided)- Great Value for $$ ($69.99 prior to tax)- Faster than most manual can crushersCon:- Only 2 mounting holes drilled in base (easily rectified)- Mounting holes are quite small (I'd provide the dimensions but I already enlarged them)Note: Did not come with QD air fitting. Not a big issue since most people with air compressors have a drawer full of parts for their pneumatic tools. Otherwise, for under 5 bucks you can purchase what is needed online or from Horror Fraught.Additional Side Note: You must rotate actuator about 1/8 turn (or less) to release/reset actuator and piston.

I waited just over 2 months to review this can crusher. It has worked flawlessly each and every time. I have crushed at least 500+ beer cans, pop cans and this thing has never had a hiccup. I've filled at least 2- 40 gallon garbage bags with that many cans where as b4 i'd fill a same size bag in no time at all by putting in un-crushed cans. Only issue now is try to lift a full bag of crushed cans out of the large plastic garbage can because these bags are so much heavier with all the crushed cans I can get into one bag now. I used a 6" hole saw and cut a hole in the top of a 40 gallon trash can, then mounted the crusher to a wooden ramp atop the garbage can...load can, crush the life out of it and it drops neatly into the bag lined can. Frickin' wonderful. I would 100% recommend this crusher. There are quite a few of these type of crushers listed, can't say nothing about the others, but I can say this one has done me well and the price was right. I run the crusher off a dedicated line and my compressor is set a 105psi..I can crush about 8-10 cans before the compressor gets down below 90psi and then kicks on to recharge back up to the 105psi.

I put the unit together, purchased the needed fittings to attach my compressor, set the regulator to 100 lbs and watched where I placed my fingers. That recycling container was full to the top when I started. Saves space, time and it's fun. I make sure the top of the can faces the ram and that the can is under the lip. I seem to get better results. Do not recommend denting the cans after you have consumed the interior of the can. Crushing is easier. No jams.

Can't beat the price. Very sturdy. I've crushed over 5,000 cans so far.

Easy to assemble. Fairly easy to operate. I wish you didn't have to twist the button to release the ram each time. Ram flat, discharge port, and ram travel could be larger.

Got it via UPS yesterday and put it together.The Blue Airline was almost not long enough. An extra ½ inch would have been better. So it the company reads this, perhaps they can make sure the line has a little extra.After assembling the little machine I went right to work with it. It works great and would recommend it to others. Only took about 10 minutes to assemble. Seems to be quite solid.

My brother has some arthritic issues with his hands so the standard can crusher just makes things worse. He had recently bought himself a new compressor so he was excited to see how it would work with this crusher... Well, it works great!!! Just make sure you keep your phalanges away from the cans in the crusher once you press the button. There is potential to hurt yourself if you are not paying attention to what you are doing. Store away from children for sure.

Don’t kill yourself trying to crush many cans with a manual can crusher this thing is awesome if you have an air compressor. We had a bottle drive and was able to crush cans the whole day none stop and is very quick to do so with caution with two people one loading and the other operating. The slot for dispenser gets clogged sometimes with irregularity dented cans but with fresh cans it just goes regardless what size cans you have. Highly recommended if you have a good compressor to provide air to it.

The media could not be loaded.  I assembled this in about 10 minutes. Be careful not to try to tighten down the air line fittings too hard. Firm is good. Tighten slightly further if there is any air leak(just enough to seat the O-ring). I then crushed all of these cans in about 30 minutes! Occasionally the crushed can gets caught in the outlet but easily poked out. Seemed better when can top was “up” towards plunger. Very good performance. When I priced out all of the bits to build one ‘from scratch’ this came to the same price.

Easy to assemble. Easy and safe to use. Relatively quiet. Fast and powerful.

Did not come with quick connect for air line. 1/4 inch tubing supplied is almost too short.
