Manfrotto Bumblebee-230 PL, Backpack Pro Light, Black, Full-Size (MB PL-B-230)

I needed something to hold my 17' laptop with my camera equipment. Very sturdy and can with stand traveling.

The many pockets in this bag is perfect for the pro photographer or avid shooter. Allows you to be fully prepared for anything.

This is a pretty good bag...almost perfect, but I returned it anyway.Here's what I liked about it:1. It is BIG. I was able fo fit the following in the bag: Nikon D5600 body (but it would probably fit a bigger body), D5600 DX-format Digital SLR Body but it would probably take a Nikon D850 FX-format Digital SLR Camera Body, Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED Lens with Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras, Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED Vibration Reduction Zoom Lens with Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras, Sony a7R II Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera, Body Only (Black) (ILCE7RM2/B), Sony FE 70-300mm SEL70300G F4.5-5.6 G OSS Lens, Sony SEL28F20 FE 28mm f/2-22 Standard-Prime Lens for Mirrorless Cameras, Sony SEL50M28 FE 50mm F2.8 Full Frame E-mount Lens (Black), Sony FDRAX53/B 4K HD Video Recording Camcorder (Black), 15" MacBook Pro and power adapter, Sony BCQM1 Compact Battery Charger (Black), and Sony Alpha a6500 Digital Camera with 2.95-Inch LCD (Body Only) with Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens attached, along with numerous batteries and other miscellaneous miscellany...and a Manfrotto MVKBFR-LIVEUS lightweight, travel friendly Be Free Fluid Video Kit, Black2. It fit very well and has a terrific back and waist strap.Here's what bugged me about the bag:1. The shoulder straps were not padded nearly enough given the size and carrying capacity of the bag. I also worried whether one of the straps was going to give every time I lifted the fully loaded bag. I just didn't want to take the chance that would happen in Abu Simbel or Jarash.2. The tripod straps require threading the webbing through an adjuster instead of using a buckle. Really Manfrotto? You made an almost perfect bag and cheaped out on the tripod straps?3 I was able to fit all of the above PLUS a Sony 55mm F1.8 Sonnar T FE ZA Full Frame Prime Lens - Fixed and a Nikon AF-S FISHEYE NIKKOR 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED F/4.5-29 Fixed Zoom Camera Lens, Black into a Think Tank StreetWalker HardDrive V2.0 for DSLR and Mirrorless Camera, along with a lot more miscellaneous miscellaney.Close, but no cigar Manfrotto.

What I need is a backpack/bag that could haul and protect my camera gear and 17" laptop when traveling. That includes the usual array of camera, lenses, batteries, filters, flash, tripod, etc. And travel includes air as well as ground, where carrying multiple bags is at annoying at best. High quality and durability is essential. Price is secondary, as I know that photography is not a cheap hobby..This bag rose to the top of the heap, given all those considerations. It is pretty much the mother of all photo backpacks. .

Nice looking bag that holds a lot of equipment, but not very sturdy. The left shoulder strap pulled loose from the bag in the first year. I bought the Lowepro Pro Trekker as a replacement. A much sturdier bag.

I'm pretty happy with this bag overall. Plenty of spaces to store things. I'm not too thrilled with the waist strap and pouch, but that's really the only thing I don't like about the bag. Carries all the gear I need for my style of camera work.
