I am tall and keep my car seat leaned back significantly so I can see the traffic lights. This pillow does a great job of extending the headrest so that I can relax against it on long drives while keeping my head level, rather than tilted back with the seat.I ended up installing mine upside-down so that the wider wings at what should be the bottom are at the top. This gets the point of contact at the base of my skull rather than the top of my neck. It is not the default configuration, but I found it works better for me.The pillow itself has a good squish to it. The case unzips in the back so you can add extra stuffing if you need to. The fabric feels good and the velcro strap at the back is thick and very sturdy.

It works for the newer Bolt and it is comfy. It is just enough thickness to balance out the shoulder bulge on the seat. I did have to make it tighter after the first time installing due to it slipping to the side of the headrest, which was easy to do either hook and loop. Width is just about perfect for the Bolt’s headrest. I would say it looks blacker than the factory black cloth seat. Build quality seems decent enough. Will update if it changes.

Pretty comfortable on the head and shoulders. Even feels cool to the head.

It’s ok but not for high back seats

I got a new office chair for my man cave for Christmas. The chair was great but I did care for the head rest so I ordered this padded head rest which fit perfectly and filled in the gap between the head rest and back of my head. Now, the chair is more comfortable and supports my whole body alleviating soreness, stiffness, and backpain. Even though this item is for a car seat, it works great for me on my new office chair!!!

I have a recliner that has a tilting and telescopic head rest. Unfortunately, the head rest does not tilt forward properly to support my head and it is a bit too firm. I had to spend two weeks sleeping in a recliner after surgery and did not want to deal with a pillow I might drop and could not reach nor a pillow that was too thick or was not comfortable. I spent an hour looking at all of the pillow options and this one seemed like it would work. I was and am very happy with this pillow. The size worked well, the strap was long enough (just barely, another inch would have been better) to attach to the headrest, the shape was perfect, and the memory foam was just right for support. I literally spent two weeks, around the clock, with this pillow. It made my recovery much more comfortable. As the pillow does not look bad on the chair, I am leaving it in place.
