Q: Does this come with the powder to make the calcium water?

Yes. I have bought Pomona's in many varying amounts; it is always packed with the calcium.

Q: How far does the bulk size go? If it's 1/2 lb and you use 2oz per batch, wouldn't that be 4 batches at about $13 of product per batch??

I make 8 cup batches of friuit jams they take from 4-6teaspoons of pectin, a teaspoon of pectin weights .I ounce. So figure it from there.11/2 to2 ounces per batch. It is expensive but not excessively, and it makes a great product.

Q: How long is the shelf life of the 1/2 pound bag of Pectin?

As long as it stays in its powder form away from moisture, forever. However once mixed up with water in a jar - 1 month

Q: What is the source of the pectin and what are the ingredients? Thanks
