For some reason I could not get a gross smell out of my old trash can, no matter what I did or how I cleaned it. Threw it out and went with this one, but it's overall much nicer. The lid actually stays on and closed unlike my old one, and the foot pedal to pop it open works well. I like that it can stay open if you need it to. My favorite feature though, is the bag holding arms. It keeps the bag in place very well and looks nicer because the bag isn't sticking out and visible like my old one. If you're looking for a nice, no frills trash can with nothing digital or electronic, this is a good choice.

Great quality trash can. I purchased this to keep my daughter’s cats out of the trash. Her new kittens love pulling trash out and scatter it all around the house. NOT FUN! The lid on this can quietly and smoothly opens and closes securely. The kittens cannot open it. They have tried! The built in foot pedal is very useful when you have full hands. The slim design saves room in tight spaces and an average 13 gallon trash bag fits perfectly. The lid can be easily removed when you need to empty the trash. This is made well and can be washed out for cleaning if need be. I highly recommend using this in your kitchen.

It’s a nice little trash can. Maybe a little pricey for what it is but that would be my only critique. It’s a basic plastic trash container. I do like the fold out arms that secure the trash bags inside, that’s a nice feature.

This is a plastic trash can we bought for our kitchen usage. Does at great job at doing exactly what we bought it to do. Never underestimate the ease and beauty of simpleness. We were using a fancier one and once one side broke, it essentially made this fancier trash can useless. All the fiddling couldn't put humpty back to use again and we constantly had to lift the lid with our hands and the bag may had stayed where we wanted it. With this one, the bag fits perfectly and the step works just as it should. No fancy bells or whistles and we are all much happier with this one. Plus, the fancier one weighed a bunch and was awkward to maneuver on any given day. This one, blessedly, weighs next to nothing and takes only our foot to move it. There is definitely something to be said about the beauty that is this trash can. It will eventually get dirty I side and outside and we won't cry over parting with it as it did not come with an arm and leg. Great value for a job well done!

It met my criteria: White. Front opening. Plastic. Hubby says he likes the bag handles. - What is with all the black trash cans? People don't clean anymore & it hides the dirt? Use plastic trash cans as mopping buckets & presto, clean floors & cleaned trash can. What is not pleasing me: - Weight is awful. We had to put a foil wrapped brick in the bottom to hold it down to keep it from sliding over the tiles. Now it just rocks some. - The lid is huge & keeps hitting my wall. I have to pull it outward from the wall about 6 inches, losing precious space in my small kitchen. No more whacking the wall & making it up but it has to be occasionally pulled out again if used a lot during the day. Maybe I need brick number 2 on the bottom? - The pedal is awful because it's placed mostly outside of the actual container, thus another space eater. It is wide & big which some might like. - The petal doesn't always shut the lid once open, and then slides around trying to make it do so. So much for hands off when cooking---just leave the lid open until done with all the kitchen work. - It's wayyy too expensive but then, all choices everywhere thanks to tariffs. Cheapest, doable white can I can find. - It is NOT slim in anyones imagination except the writer of the description. - Shorter & more squat than my old, white plastic can. RIP old can, I will morn you!

Got this for my very smelly socks, works great, lightweight and good size, the inner things that hold the bags really help keep smells away. Honestly better laundry basket than anything marketed under that name 😆

I love the capacity of this garbage can. Also it has a large opening so you can easily empty other waste basket into this larger one. It also has a holding system that holds your garbage bag in place. So it's always fitted in the garbage can. I use 30 gallon bags. When the lid is closed, no awful smells seep out. The only weakness is the opening of the lid. It's working as usual but when I first received it, the plastic nodule that is crucial for the whole foot pedal lid opening functionality to work was broken probably due to the poor shipping packaging. Each time I press the foot pedal, the lid came off of the garbage can on the side where the nodule was broken. This shows how fragile and dependent the foot pedal lid opening mechanism is. However, I returned the defective one and got a new one that works. It's working so far and it's absolutely wonderful. I hope these nodules will last. The other thing that can be improved is to put some sort of rubber under the garbage can to stop the garbage can from sliding back each time the foot pedal is pressed. It keeps on moving but this annoyance is tolerable but I would prefer if the design team would resolve this minor flaw.

The bin has been successful In keeping the odour out. We clear the bin about every 2 days. Just note that there is no soft closing. Not a feature that is advertised anyway.

Unfortunately, the foot pedal mechanism failed after just 3 days of use.

Tiene muy buen tamaño y el plástico es de buena calidad. Tuve problemas con la bisagra de la tapa, se rompió. Específicamente la bisagra trae unos anillos de plástico muy débiles, que al poco uso se desgastan y se rompen.
