A box of broken shells
Taste is good, but Amazon does not know how to ship taco shells! These came all broken. Not a single full shell. Why they pack these with heavier items that crush them in the box is a mystery to me.

Would not have bought if knew they were beyond the best by date
I love these taco shells so I was very excited that I could find them on here. Of course I should have realized something was up when I could get six boxes for such a good price. I’m going to keep them because they are usually good for a little while after the best by date but probably would not have bought six of them then. I probably won’t order food items in the future.

Ortega Hard Taco Shells - best brand name on these
I've had off brands and store brands that were good too but for name brand hard taco shells Ortega is the clear winner, crunchy, usually not smashed.... unless you get a bad batch. Not the minis but regular sized, yellow and tostadas are also usually good (freshness is a tostada issue with Ortega but when they don't taste stale they are spot on the best) Honestly even Aldi had good hard tacos but these are good

Can be a good value
These are my favorite hard taco shell. Depending on what the list price is it can be a really good deal compared to buying the 12pk in stores. There are of course a few broken shells here and there but no different than your chances at the store.

Great shells, bad packing.
Really great taco shells. Thin and crisp and delicious. However, Amazon's packing is the worst I've ever seen. The shells are nearly always smashed to bits. The packers have to know that they are delicate and need to be packed separately. My recent order was packed along with jars of sauce and almost no packing separating the heavy from the delicate, letting the jars smack into the shells relentlessly. I can't see any reason why this keeps happening other than the packing people at Amazon are either overworked or they are simply doing this for fun. I love the shells, they are lightweight and great tasting but they might as well stop selling this stuff if they can't even try to get it right.
