Ideal for a birthday present for a cricket mad grandson! Well packed, delivered on time. Recommend.

Great book

I started to read this book intending to get it for a nephew and found myself reading it instead! Packed full of fascinating anecdotes and cameos, this is ideal for both the dedicated cricket fan and those interested in sports generally.

For any cricket enthusiast, this book is the bees knees. It’s full of information that has you hooked as soon as you open it. It’s just so easy to read, and if you don’t know much about the game, this book will help with that too. There’s an in depth look at those considered “legends” in the game (though where’s Graham Thorpe?) and there’s a glossary at the back with some marvellous words and their meanings. Who doesn’t laugh at “googly”? At least now I know what it means! This book has included male and female cricketers, from all over the world. Very well done, and I’m grateful to be able to have had it sent to me for review purposes.

My boys, aged 6 and 8, really enjoyed reading this again and again. There's a good range of stars across countries, time periods - men and women. A great introduction to some of the greats of cricket history.

Arrived damaged and was meant for my sons friends birthday present for tomorrow. who is a big cricket fan. Was going to return but my son saw the author and was excited to read as he is a big fan of their other books. So although not happy with how it arrived. .as box delivered in was all ok.. we will keep and hopefully my son will enjoy reading it.

This book is a must read for the cricket fanatic in your family! Would highly recommend.
