Dried to a Perfect Level
This is the best of several saffron products I have tried on Amazon. I use it to flavor soups and it is important for me to easily crush the stems into powder with a spoon. Some other saffron was not dried quite enough and the stems stay intact regardless of how much I crush them - preventing them from quickly giving up their flavor. This is definitely "the good stuff".

Country of Origin is Afghanistan
Product arrived quickly, packaged well, best use by date of 12/2026, (18mo out), but I was surprised that the Country of Origin was Afghanistan.I thought is was from Spain?I will add a comment if I had any issue

Easy to Use Tin of Saffron Threads
The strands of saffron were easy to use. Because saffron is an expensive spice, the volume is small--but that is to be expected. I like that the saffron threads are in a tin which keeps them fresh.
