Works great.Followup .... I bought this power supply to power a Lepai LP-202A+ audio amplifier. When I ordered the amplifier it said that the sale included a power supply. It didn't ... so Amazon, being the fine upstanding people they are, allowed me to pick a power supply from their web site for the amplifier and I picked this one. It has the right voltage and the right amperage so it SHOULD work properly.The first time I connected the amplifier using this power supply to my computer it KILLED my computer! I now have my computer in the shop for a $750 replacement of a blown main logic board.I did some reading on the web about switching power supplies (like this one) and learned that certain designs for switching power supplies can present half of the line voltage on the minus side of the DC output. So I checked this by putting a volt meter between the minus side of the DC output and the ground pin of the power plug and ... sure enough .... there was 63 volts AC! THAT'S what blew out my computer logic board!The bottom line is:A. If you are going to use this power supply on ANYTHING that is going to be connected to another AC powered device (like a computer) DO NOT use this power supply.B. If you are going to connect it to a battery operated device .... then it will be OK .... UNTIL you try to power that device from a wall connected power source! THEN that 63 volts will zap your iPhone or other device like it did to my computer.In other words .... this power supply has a very limited range of safe usage. BEWARE!

Not UL certified, has circuit path between AC line input and DC output.
Not UL certified, and there is an AC path between the power rails to the DC output!These will cause any audio systems using this adapter to make noise. However, if you're handy with wire cutters, this adapter can be fixed by snipping two wires to disconnect a bogus part and to break an erroneous DC connection to the heatsink. Doing these two things makes the DC output float as it should. This adapter is easy to fix because the case screws together (unlike many that are glued shut).Like most crappy chinese power adapters, this is designed using the same faulty circuit that's been copied without understanding by ignorant and greedy manufacturers unwilling to spend a bit extra to have an electrical engineer review the design. These are easily identified with an AC voltmeter by measuring the AC voltage between the DC output and the AC line input. These bogus adapters will have about 55VAC between the AC line input and the DC output. This is caused by an internal capacitor that shouldn't be present. Many of these also have a DC connection between the AC side and the DC side due to the ignorance of the circuit "designers" neglecting to isolate the internal heat sink from the circuit.

Bought year ago. It was Fast two days shipping. Using every day at least two hours with LED light on my kitchen. LEDs not blinking.After two hours work it becomes hot, but you can keep your hand on it, so it is not critical.Power adapter fully protected from dust. I mounted on 3m tape and it stiil there, even if it gets hot.My recomendation to use with 30 - 33 watts, just in case to have 10 - 15% power reserve.

This adapter did a expected and has worked fine. My only concern is that the plug was only a two pronged plug .with no third prong

Since we needed the product and it does what it's ...
Since we needed the product and it does what it's supposed to do I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise I do not understand why the power adapter is not included with the lights when it is obviously a necessary component. It arrived in a timely fashion(I have Prime), packaging was fully intact, and no complaints thus far.

Not bad for the money.
Works very well for its intended use. I would have given it 5 stars, but the 120vac cord that plugs into the adapter has to be very firmly pushed in, and then not disturbed or it loses connection...not the best quality cord, but for the price, not bad. And most of us have a universal cord like that from an old computer or other device laying around that can be substituted.
