I bought these after looking at several options. They arrived quickly and I was very pleased. They are very strong and fairly easy to assemble. The directions weren't the best, but it wasn't rocket science either. They fit nicely on my Rhino Rack and I was able to put two kayaks on the roof of my truck. Another PLUS of these are the straps and tie downs. I didn't really expect them to be as useful as they were. I was able to use them to secure the kayak to the J-bars and then secure the front and the back of the kayak to the front and back of my truck, securing them perfectly. We drove over 300 miles, reaching 70+ MPH and the kayaks didn't budge and the straps stayed nice and tight. I would buy these again if I needed them.

Easy to out together and feels more secure with the double bolts on each side. Can’t wait to see how it handles on long trips and thousands of miles later!

These are a great value and worked well hauling my 10'6" kayak 45 miles on highways with a decent crosswind. The assembly instructions leave a little to be desired, but it's not rocket science so I figured it out. The blue cinch straps are of lesser quality, and the buckle tended to slip when cinched very tight. Still a great product and value, even if you need to purchase other tie down straps. I have Thule aero bars on my roof, and this rack fit and held the kayak down fine on them.

The instructions were pretty self explanatory, assembly was easy and big shock they actually fit my 3 inch Mont Blanc Aero cross bars. A lot of J racks don’t so I’m happy with this purchase however I am confused as the pictures show 3 inch oval cross rail but the description says up to 2.5 inch so I’ll be back to update this review if the performance is not up to par with a kayak on them.Tip - don’t over tighten any screws until you have them all in place. Good overall but the straps are weak and I ended up using straps from another purchase.

Very simple to assemble and quality seem very good.

The problem is with the nuts and bolts. They don't fit the square holes they are supposed to fit into. The wrench supplied doesn't fit the nuts. I am returning.
