As mentioned in the title it works exactly as you expect. The "power on" and "connected" voice isn't annoying compared to a lot of other Bluetooth adapters. Once it's on, mine usually connects in less than a second and is ready to go. The mic isn't the best but certainly works especially in the car where speaker phone just won't cut it. My Fiat 500 has Bluetooth for phone call (and reading received texts) but thats it. But with the built in mic, I've just disconnected my phone to my car and just use the adapter in its entirety now.

I have some older equipment (Bose) and an older pickup truck that only have an aux jack and no Bluetooth capability. These adapters are fantastic. They pair almost instantly and the sound quality is excellent. Battery life is about 10 hours and a pleasant voice comes on and tells you when its time to recharge. I got one for my truck and one for the Bose. NOT disappointed and highly recommended.

6 MONTHS UPDATE - I bought I bought this Aug 12. And it worked AWESOME for 6 months......until it died. 😪 NO warning that it was going to break or that there was a problem. Just all of a sudden it never powered on again. It ISNT the charging port because i tried same port on my phone and radar detector and both still charge on it. HUGE BUMMER cuz i really liked the product a LOT. August 15 was first time i used device......March 2nd it died. So very close to being exactly 6 months usage. For the $16 price I guess I got some good use out of it. But it WPULD be nice if it gave me a YEAR at least before breaking Connects easily. The touchscreen in my VW doesn't work on ONE PART of the screen. I realized when I got a new cell phone and tried to add it to car stereo. When the promp came up to me to "accept" I COULDNT ACCEPT because thst is where the screen won't work lol. I continued to use my old phone for music until it crapped out 6 months later. I have a warranty to 100k Mike's but they don't pay for rental. Last time they had my car 9 DAYS for a throttle body fix that legit takes about 2-3 hours. Because of inflation it cost me $829 to rent a car for 8 days !!!! Def not getting a rental for just the screen lolol......so bought this product. It connects to car WOTHOUT having to his "accept" on screen. 😊👍 My ONLY complaint is it makes a wierd static/buzzing noise for a second if u skip a song. And twice it make the odd buzzing noise nonstop while i was DRIVING. Almost like it was revving louder with my car if that makes sense. I pulled over, shut car off, reconnected it and it stopped both times. (In case it happens to u - try that.) All in all its a GREAT alternative if you are having an issue w your car stereo.

Has been flawless so far, reconnects immediately each time I turn on Bluetooth. As I'm only in car 15 min each way to work on avg battery life is yet to be determined. Unlikely I'll need to charge it much. Only negative would be needing to turn it on/off each time. Just what I needed for my basic car dash radio. Sound is great, phone calls that I could never get to work on my previous device, work flawlessly thru this thing.

I got this item to replace my old bluetooth receiver that I use in car. I need one that was small. I took a small piece of Velcro adhesive strip and put it near the radio so I can just press on and off without fumbling for it on my seat or cup holder. One thing about it, will disconnect from phone when it is plugged in and charging after car is turned off. If you do not have it plugged in and charging, it will stay connected.

I had a similiar unit from a different manufacturer for the last three years. Worked great but I dropped it on a bicycle ride last week. Bought this as a replacement. It works the same way as my old one, but the output volume is about half my old one. I wear when bicycling and a lot of the time traffic noise drowns out the music. I’m using the same headphones and same iPhone with same Spotify. So this box just doesn’t have very good output. Sound quality is fine, when I can hear it.

THIS BLUETOOTH ADAPTER WAS EASY TO PAIR UP RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. IT HAS GREAT FEATURES, AND THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE EASY TO FOLLOW. I EVEN GOT FOLLOW UP COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE VENDOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO EVERYONE. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!

This bluetooth adapter connects to your phone fast, clear audio if you use the wire instead of the direct metal plug, and look in your bluetooth directory on your phone it will tell you how much battery life is left on it. Lasts quite a few hours before needing a recharge.
