This thing rocks..setup was easy..goes great with my 75 in samsung tv..

I bought this soundbar before I had read a lot of negative reviews on it. It's been working very well for the first week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.Sound Quality: it's very good. Detailed highs and excellent midrange, bass is boomy and a little overpowering but easy to adjust with tone control.Build Quality: very well made and feels solid.My only gripe is that sometimes powering soundbar and tv on, the soundbar switches from hdmi to DIN. I don't know what is causing this, it doesn't happen all the time but is annoying.My research found that a lot of problems people are having are resolved with a firmware update. I haven't updated mine yet but may soon.

We like the Q700B, it has a nice full sound and pairs well with our 2020 Samsung UHD TV. It has better bass than I expected. It really shines when streaming music from my phone, the TV sound is very good as well, but only as good as your TV signal. Dialog is clearer than the TV speakers. The soundbar turns on automatically when the TV is turned on, and also when you connect via Bluetooth.This was my original 1-star review on the Q600B that I returned. ..... It was easy enough to install but thought it should sound better so dug in and figured out that the firmware is outdated and it needs a firmware update. No problem right? After multiple failed attempts to get the update to work I spent several hours with two different Samsung customer service people only to finally discover that I can't do the update on my MacBook computer. Samsung has chosen not to offer the file in a Zip format that works with Mac!! Soooo, not being one to give up easily I tried on two different Windows PCs to unpack Samsung's ".BIN" file. I followed Samsung's instructions precisely and never got the Windows PC to unpack the compressed update file. I reformatted the thumb drive to several different formats and nothing worked. It shouldn't be this hard!! I'm returning this one.

I had a Sonos sound bar that I loved. Unfortunately, my toddler knocked it down and the optical input broke and will no longer connect to my tv. I didn’t want to spend another thousand dollars on a sound bar so I purchased a cheaper option from target. A Lg sound bar and sub and was extremely disappointed with the sound quality. I appreciated my Sonos sound bar so much more after that purchase. Needless to say, I returned it and started my research on another option. I found the Samsung sound bar and did some homework before dishing out anymore money. After being pleased with the YouTube reviews I purchased it and I’m not disappointed. The sound quality is great. You couldn’t get more bang for your buck than this system. Sub sounds great. The voice enhancement setting is great. Clear crisp sound. You won’t be disappointed.

Connected soundbar. Screen popped up, "Congratulations your Q-Symphony is connected, you are great and your TV sound experience is going to be #1." Exciting...except the soundbar will not work with TV speakers at the same time. Either get soundbar only with DVD player or TV speakers only with apps. Trouble shooting for 3 hours and still broken (with update installed). The TV+Soundbar option in the settings never showed up. Sound was ok with movie but nothing to be super excited about. The sub is too small and the bass is too punchy, not low enough. Controller settings are not intuitive for making adjustments.

I was expecting a lot from this unit. It delivers!!! Very nice sound hooked to my f6000 Samsung TV. Full lifelike sound with rich base and room filling sound. Really does a good job of simulating a theater experience. Much easier to understand dialogue compared to the tv alone. The Q-symphony function works flawlessly. I hooked up using the ARC-HDMI hookup and all I had to do is turn everything on, select proper mode on the tv and sound bar it worked without having to pair anything or using complicated hookups. Very satisfied
