Such a heartwarming sweet read
This story will definitely pull on your heart strings from beginning til the end. It's a story that you will be so absorbed in and will feel so connected with the main character Harper who is so strong and loving. Even with the serious beginning this read has tons of hilarious banters/lines and tons of cute, heartwarming and swoony moments. I enjoyed the mini blogs by a hilarious blogger named Ferris. The sad shocking event in the beginning of the story changed Harpers and her children's lives. It ended a chapter and helped begin a new and better one for Harper and her kids. The Alaska adventure and the people they encountered helped Harper and her kids adjust with their new situation. The sad situation made Harper stronger and more courageous to move on and leave her husband.Meeting Digger was the best thing that has ever happened to Harper and her kids. He's such a caring, dependable, sweet, gorgeous inside and out kind of guy. But because each has issues of their own they both were unsure about moving forward with their feelings. Both Harpers and Diggers biggest cheerleaders and supporters all helped them move forward with their romance at the end. Harper sent the sweetest message/hint of her feelings during her interview and Digger did the heart melting grand gesture at the end. I think the biggest lesson Harper learned is that she doesn't have to give up her happiness just to show how much she loves her kids. Alaska is such an amazing setting for a fun sweet romantic story. This is an amazing super sweet swoony read!

Good turned bad
The only reason I continued with this was because I was enjoying the humor. (Part of which was the gossip blog posts.) Unfortunately, about 2/3 of the way through it all started going bad. The female lead treated the male lead like dirt. I understand why she needed to go, but to act toward him like she did was not acceptable. And him, he just went back to being the coward he was instead of trying to fix it. Even though she later told the world what he meant to her in a tv interview, he had no plans to go after her until he was told to. That’s not love.I don’t understand how something well written can be so unemotional. The characters were filled out enough, but there was no chemistry, no feeling, between any of them. It felt like bad actors going through the motions.Since some of this was good enough, and some of it was pretty bad, I give this a neutral three stars. I had planned on reading the next one about the sister, but that’s not going to happen now. Way to mess up what could have been a decent series!Pet peeve: The kids sound older than they are. Add a few years to their ages if you want them to talk like that.

Fun new series!
Harper is a fantastic character and her dedication and protectiveness of them absolutely made this book for me. I could relate to her choices and emotions. All the characters are well thought out and relatable. I can hardly wait for the next one in the series!

Sweet story
Anytime Melanie Summers and Whitney Dineen collaborate on a book, you know it’s going to be good! Harper and Digger’s story is so sweet and funny! I was devouring this book because I just had to see what was going to happen next!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fun read by a favorite duo
I really liked the characters- including the kids. Their personalities made me want to wrap them up and squeeze them.It had a happily ever after, but also showcased the struggles of parenting and loving the divorce/ loss. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Great Humour & Setting!
This was a cute romance featuring a Hollywood actress escaping to Gamble, Alaska after discovering her husband cheating ... again. Attempting to salvage her marriage for far too long, I loved seeing Harper finally find true happiness while also balancing the woes of co-parenting with her awful ex. She was a great mom!Digger McKenzie, pilot and owner of Whistler Lake Lodge, is the main reason for that happiness! He was such an honourable, kind man. Already reluctant to relationships, Harper is the last person he imagined himself with. As he helps Harper hide from reporters, I really enjoyed the humour and wilderness adventures!Based on their opposite lifestyles, I was expecting an enemies-to-lovers situation, but Digger was quite accommodating from the start. It was nice to have a more easygoing romance, but at times I craved more banter and tension between them. Overall a charming, fun story!

Enjoyable
Very enjoyable. Good light reading. Looking forward to the next one in the series. I like the Hollywood narrative. Wish the leading lady didn't have to give up her career. Couldn't she moonlight?
