Slow switching times
This is a new competitor to the Elecraft KPA100 QRP amplifier. At half the price it certainly is attractive. I drove the amp with an Elad FMD DUO running about 5 watts into a 260 foot windom. The tuner had no issues tuning all bands quickly, even on six meters. Output of the amp was typically 100 to 125 watts average. Some bands it would peak on SSB to 200 watts. The amplifier does have an RF switch but does have a external switch line that uses a 6 pin din plug. This I tied this to the DUO and it was certainly switching, but on CW the. switch line was very slow caused clipping of the amplified signal. Which really makes this amp unusable on CW. To bad because I liked this amp in every other way. .

After a few month it seems pretty solid and works okay
After a few month it seems pretty solid and works okay. Power out and tuning seem to work fine. I've taken it up to 70 W with FT-8 and no problems. The switching is a little slow but it doesn't matter that much on digital. It is actually the loudest piece of gear I own when it switches and it does have some fan noise. Nice compact package about the same size as the Elecraft KPA100 3dB$ down from a Elecraft!
