This is probably my favorite hair styling product of everything I've used in the past 7 years. Upsides: 1) It's light weight so your hair doesn't feel like anything 2) It's not sticky so your fingers won't be sticky throughout the day (you can still feel a tiny, ignorable amount) 3) It has a nice smell but also not a strong scent so you won't smell like anything 4) It's easy to apply given how easily it spreads (which ofc makes it a perfect pre-styler) 5) As advertised it's medium hold, which honestly is all you need for most men's hairstyles, and low shine, which again, should be what you aim for for most hairstyles 6) It's so affordable for such a well-rounder product DOWNSIDES: 1) The biggest downside is this product is not entirely water-soluble. Meaning you might need shampoo to get it out of your hair entirely, at least that's what chatgpt says 2) It's not the best post-styler, but that's fine - rarely does a product function both as a pre-styler and a post-styler. I've tried products that were advertised to do both (blumaan) and they sucked at being a post-styler 3) Because it's not sticky, it's not the best at allowing you to restyle your hair throughout the day. Again I think this downside is a reasonable trade-off, especially if you work an office job or just don't run around in the day

This is my go-to hair styling product. It holds all day, and it has a nice matte finish. The only time it doesn't hold perfectly is on extremely windy days, but I'm usually able to fix it once I'm out of the wind. I find that Dove is a consistent brand of high quality. Also the scent is light and very pleasant. I have nothing bad to say.

Works great on short or longer hair. Just a small amount on finger rubbed into palms and worked quickly into hair. Eliminates friz and allows shaping without being sticky or oily.

I love nearly every Dove + men products and that includes that includes this hair product! I love the quality of it and the feeling your hair has . Doesn’t flake or feel like there is product in your hair even when you wash and it smells great , it’s a subtle and gently scent but does smell good!

This hair paste works great and doesn’t leave your “stiff” feeling or looking.

The Suave product I had been using for years has been getting harder to find. This has been a well suitable replacement. Good value, smells good, good consistency.
