While not a learning thermostat, it has enough control to make it more than sufficient for all users. Install is easy. May be a bit confusing if your HVAC control board has an O/B wire as this is not clear in the manual how to connect if you’re using the c-wire adapter. You CAN CORRECT TEMPERATURE READINGS IF THEY ARE OFF. There is a menu item to adjust the offset if it reads 72 degrees and your test thermometer reads otherwise. Additional Sensor works only within 9 feet so don’t try putting it far away, it’s more of a “gimmick” as the temperature is likely not that different a few feet away. The only grande that’s missing is the ability to set the fan mode within the schedule (I.e auto or on). There is a workaround if you create a manual routine (scene) to set the fan mode at a certain time, and back at another time (if you like the fan on while you sleep but auto the rest of the time). Works with our heat pump ac / heat system. We had no c-wire on our old thermostat, but the line to it had an extra wire not being used, so I attached it to the c terminal of the hvac, which already had another wire there likely for the a/c pump, and this does not interfere.

I wanted to upgrade my old thermostat and this did the trick, I use this with my Smart Life app. and boy does it work well. Easy to program and connect to Wi-fi. I did have a "C" wire so I did not need the adapter. I am very happy I bought this and you will be too.

Looks great and works well with one exception....you may have to modify the reading of it's temperature sensor. My wife and I notice that the temperature on the screen did't really feel like what was happening in the house. It wasn't and there is a way to modify the sensed temperature by inputting a delta. Not hard but it was just an extra step. Don't put the additional sensor that comes with it too far away as the signal only goes so far across a room (and not across the house).

Do not buy this if you have a 5G network. The thing doesn’t work with it. The instruction booklet does nothing for you. I wasted my money and time to have this installed in the house.

It actually works and uses internet for outside temperature vs the wiring on my original thermostat. I bought 3 for all my units.

The unit is nice looking and easy to control once you go through numerous steps to get it to connect to your wifi network. Physical installation was easy, but the initial setup was difficult. After a few tries, I finally got it but I was just about to give up. The app has you pick a device to install and to find this thermostat on their list, you have to look under Small Appliances. On my iPhone, there were three thermostats to choose from, and if you choose the wrong one, it will not connect to your system. My menu showed BLE, BLE+WiFi, and WiFi. The correct one was WiFi. After messing around for about 40 minutes, I was connected.So far, so good - now the bad news - the unit shows a temperature 4º below the actual room temperature. Unfortunately, there is no manual calibration on the unit. So, if this doesn't correct itself, I will be returning it. In the photo, there is glare, but you can see by the comparison thermometer that the actual room temperature is 80º, while the unit shows 76º. That is not acceptable.

This product provided for 2 wire, 3wire, and C wire options. But the non-C wire hookup was confusing and I was unable to use until I hired AC guy to add c-wire wire. Pain in the backside.Then after getting it setup and "working" it could not maintain temperature in a reasonable range. Oddly similiar to another Moes product was that it got 4-5 degrees hotter than setting before it finally turned AC on. I know these AC systems need delay but was not the issue here.I avoid buying Moes products because of this. I have since bought other brands and all is working well.

Thermostat Preis/Leistung top. Funktioniert seit Monaten sehr gut und zuverlässig. Wird für Infrarotheizung für das ganze Haus verwendet (7 Stück). Software ist verbesserungswürdig aber durchaus brauchbar, wie Sicher die „offene“ Wlan Verbindung ist, kann man streiten… Programmierung geht relativ einfach und funktioniert einwandfrei.

Lovely attractive design that makes setting my bathroom thermostat through the app a much simpler process than the old touch screen one. Same day delivery was fantastic and the price spot on. Now we have lovely warm toes every morning.

Purchased this piece of kit to replace a broken Dayton Thermostat that was installed in our house when we purchased it 20 years ago. I had looked a the Phillip Hue version but price was the limiting factor. Having read a number of good reviews with useful installation advice from other customers I purchased the MOES WiFI Thermostat as at £34 and knowing it worked with the same SMARTLIFE App I already used for a number of other Alexa devices though it would be a good choice.Installation was very simple, see attached photos original wiring and configuration in MOES Thermostat. As has been noted by other reviewers the the heating system has to be on at all times and controlled by the thermostat. There were only 3 relevant connections for my Drayton Thermostat Live, Neutral and yellow for Call (Dry Connect) I matched these between the old and new MOES devices and switched back on the electricity and the device appeared to be working. I was able to manually increase and decrease the Thermostat temperature on the device, what I didn't realise was this was having no impact on the boiler. As has been noted by another reviewer it needed the circuit to be completed from Live to setting 2 on the MOES Thermostat. Once I had added that loop it worked perfectly see attached image.Alexa Configuration:After installing the SMART LIFE App and registering for an account (I didn't need to do this) then go to the Amazon Alexa app and add the SMART LIFE Skill, you will need to have created an account to do this. Adding the Alexa skill at this time will make setting and connecting the device much easier as it will auto pick up the device once connected through the SMART LIFE app.Next the Alexa setup the most important bit for me. This was very straight forward apart from the instructions that were so small could follow them and the images don't relate to current version of the SMART LIFE App. Whenever setting up any WiFi Alexa enabled Smart device disable your 5Ghz wifi settings on your router as most devices only utilise the 2.4 Ghz WiFi settings, otherwise you will invariably try for ages to rule out why the app won't pick up your device. Switching off temporarily the 5Ghz wireless options will save you a lot of unnecessary pain, re-enable it once your device is connected. On the Thermostat switch the device off by clicking the circle so the screen goes blank, then hold the down arrows for a few seconds until the unit strats to plink and display the WiFi symbol. The device is now ready for pairing. Log into the SMART LIFE App and click on the plus symbol to register your device. You don't need to find a matching device in the list as per the original instructions just click on Auto Scan and hold your mobile close to the thermostat. It took only a few secodns to automatically pick up the Thermostat. Almost ready one tip is to rename the default name for the device to Thermostat the default is Thermostat and a number. When you change it here it automatically picks this name up in the Amazon Alex Smart Home setup, so nothing more to do except to issue an Alexa command e.g. "Alexa Set Thermostat to 24"One final thing to note is to ensure that all your Alexa devices have under Settings and the specific Alexa Device configuration parameter for Temperature Units set to ON for metric units. I think by default all Amazon Alexa devices do, but I first issued the command on an Alexa Compatible Facebook Portal device and for those device it was off and so referred to Fahrenheit values so my request to set to 24 degrees Centigrade came up with an error as outside normal parameters. I adjusted all settings on the portal devices in the Amazon Alexa app and then all worked fine.Superb device and well worth the money.
