I bought this for my 9 year old to do over the summer. Since Covid has taken a hit on all of us I really dont want her to lose anything that she learned throughout the year and still have a jump start for next year.With the weekly incentive chart makes this lesson book awesome! They even get a certificate if they finish all of their work! Now who doesnt like a little praise for doing a great job or giving it your best?!My mother is a retired school teacher and she stated that this book was perfect for any child my daughters age.

I highly recommend this series of workbooks. These keep my kids on track and ready for the next school year. It is missing a science section, but the reading passages are science themed. So, the kids still get the science concepts and vocabulary review. I like that it is designed for independent work. My child with dyslexia needs minimal instruction explanation to complete the work (something I specifically looked for). My oldest spent the first two weeks of school helping her classmates review because she "knew all the answers".

The pages are hard to write on with pencil and some of the content I could do with out. I would like the book to lose some of the technical grammar components and replace with more math or science material.

This workbook was perfect for my grandson while he stayed with me for the summer. Some pages were more challenging since he hadn’t been introduced to the skill. But I was able to teach him and it gave us both a sense of accomplishment!

My son struggles with reading comprehension, and never checks his math work even though it's easy for him. This book presents the perfect balance of daily work that he struggles with and breezes through. I feel like we are making real progress in his study habits, and that we will be ready for school in the fall! Oh, and he doesn't approach the work with fear and whining this summer!

LOVE these summer workbooks! These were perfectly on par with my child’s school progress. It starts with some review and slowly builds throughout the summer. And I love the little sticker sheets so the kids can mark their progress and the encouraging weekly completion certificates. Highly recommend! I’ll be buying these for both my kids every summer from now on.
