More horsepower, more maintenance, cheaper initial price
Everyone loves "O" ring chains. Simply put, O ring chains last longer than standard chains providing you take care of them. But O ring chains also cost more, sometimes almost twice what a standard chain cost. Everyone I know who rides is also looking for more horsepower and will bolt on just about any gimmick or device to try to achieve simple 1-3hp gains. What if I tell you that by switching to a standard chain, you can get those gains by doing exactly what you have been doing, replacing your chain every year. Yes, the math is correct, you will see an avg of 1-3 hp at the rear by switching to a standard chain. Try that for 65.00 with anything else you can slap on your bike. With this chain you need to be diligent with your maintenance and clean and lube it right out of the box. I prefer chain wax for a new chain first time on the bike then switch to a quality lube after the first few rides. I clean my chain after 4 rides. Initial stretch is a bit more than with O ring chains but once done, it will not stretch any more. I run this chain on an XR400, Yz450f and KX500.

a quality chain
this chain is plain awesome .. i used it on my DRZ400 with SM wheels on the street to have a thinner chain than the stock oring for more tire clearance .. i just adjusted it the FIRST time at 2200 miles since i installed it - 1 click on the snail - and it still looks great to .. its alittle more maintenance intensive than an oring and i have cleaned it twice and lube it often but completely satisfied ...

Replacement for same model, expect great performance from this one too!
Used to replace the same model chain ,I got good use from the last one, expect he same from this one. Great price and value! Change sprockets at the same time, lube property, will last under racing conditions ! (Large bore 2 stroke) dirt, mud, sand, rock, pavement.

Excellent motocross chain
I have found this to be very durable chain for all my bikes. It is a good choice for motocross. If your looking for longer chain and sprocket life and don't care so much about the extra drag, look at the DID X-ring chain. It lasts quite a bit longer, though some have reported clearance issues with it since the chain is wider.

R1 chain from renthal and this chain are the only chains I run, they do stretch a bit but if that’s a concern you should choose a different hobby like knitting. It takes 5 min to adjust your chain slack.

Great mx chain
This is just a solid chain for any bike (125-450). I use them on my 125 and 250 2-strokes, they last long and are just a quality product.

DID ERT series are always a quality chain for MX use. They actually sent me an ERT3.

Awful wear in time
Chain stretches every time I ride my bike and moves about 10-15 mm worth of slack. When I put it on, I moved my rear wheel all the way to the front of the swing arm, last week I had to remove the chain so I could remove two additional links and also move the wheel all the way back to the front of the swing arm. I am now a week out from that point and have already moved the wheel back half an inch in the swing arm to make up for new slack. It also destroyed my chain guard and guide and has started eating into metal because why the hell do I need to adjust it every 30 miles
