great quality, a bit over-sized
These are sold for cap diameters between 1" - 1-1/2." The caps we are using are 1-1/16" diameter and these bands, while they work, are quite a bit oversized for our caps and, therefore, difficult to work with and seal accurately.

Seals jars perfectly. Make sure you the size that best fits your needs, they finish cleaner when they don't have to shrink a lot.

Smells like skunk.
Bigger than stated which is okay i guess. but i know for an excellent profesional looking fit the snugger before shrinking, the better. I think they mean the size listed is what it will shrink to.Not sure why they make it seem like the BANDS ARE THE SIZE LISTED.DESCRIPTION would be more accurate if it stated they are like 4 inches wide and can nicely shrink down to 2 inches. I tried it onba random bottle of a 3 inch top and its shrinked beautifully but the jars i ordered these for are too small and curl from not being able to shrink enough.So in other words, since i have to heat longer i end up melting several of them before i can complete an order. Which is a waste. And yes i use a heating tool as suggested not a hair dryer.They are super clear, no perferation or whatever its called. I would not purchase these again though.

Works great, perfect fit, professional look
Exactly what i was looking for. The 3.5” fit perfect on my 89-400 PET jars. I haven’t shipped any of my products just yet to see if it prevents leaking, but as far as fit, look and ease of use go it’s a 5 star for sure!

these worked perfectly for the application I needed them for. I was using them with the 3oz spice jars with the wire snap lid that I purchased here and they are a perfect fit. I don't have a heat gun so I have used both a blow drier, and also most of the time I just turn the electric stove on Med-high and do it over that. not sure if that would work with a gas stove, but probably would
