June 6,2020... Received my "lings" in record time and they were so soft and fresh and plump. It was just as good as the first time I ordered them. I love them..ThanksI have eaten "Lings" all my life and have not been satisfied with what I have tried lately. I decided to test the "you get what you pay for" saying and found that as far as Li hing mui goes, It's true. This is a great product with BIG ,SOFT, MEATY lings. LOVE IT!!!Jan 2, 2019- I reorder this product and I am extremely disapointed. The lings are small and no where near a PREMIUM li hing mui. So disappointed..

Great tasting Li Hing Mui, just as i remembered
Really liking this Li Hing Mui. Have not had this in a long while. Ordered these couple weeks ago and seems to be running out. Mine arrived in good condition, packaged was done well. No missing or damaged container, no spoilage of any of the plums. Only problems is, been eating these too much. Anyways my order was good, tasted great (as I remembered them), has the right balance of flavor (salty, sour, sweet and watery). I have notices food wise items on any online stores some folks will have bad experiences. So far with this order, am really liking it. Will try to order more later. Its pricy (not sure if its because its shipped from Hawaii directly). These are what I remembered, taste wise. Hopefully there will be on sale someday.

Wow! So Delicious!
I have been addicted to the pure salt version my whole life. Never liked this sweet/sour/salty kind. Until now! Wow are these delicious and addicting! So plump and juicy! A great balance of flavors! Not too tart, salty or sweet. These are head and shoulders above the kind you normally see for sale. No wonder I never cared for them until now! The flavor really packs a punch and is a satisfying snack in a very small amount for me as I am dieting.

Sweet and Sour Perfection!
I have loved these ever since I tasted my first one in Okinawa, Japan in 1989. After returning to the US to live, I tried and tried to find dried umeboshi (plum) that were as good as the ones sold in Okinawa. This is the closest to the original that I have found. In fact, these are about 3X the size of the ones I fell in love with so you get a mouthful of pucker in each individual dried plum. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Picture and description don’t match. These are SWEET!
The pictures of the product and the product description don’t quite match. I thought I was buying 18oz of regular li hing mui because that’s what the picture showed. What I got was 17 oz of SWEET li hing mui. According to the ingredients, these are the same thing but regular and sweet li hing are actually 2 different things. I do like the flavor but wish I had received regular li hing mui because these are a little too sweet for my taste. Still, it’s a nice big jar and despite the 1 oz difference in the pictures and product description, it’s still a good deal. I’m still on the search for the flavor from my childhood. This one is not it. But still good. The DLPA (phenylalanine) in them is an amino acid that immediately relieves my stress and puts me in a better mood. Yum!

Product was old and did not taste good at all.
I have bought this product before and it tasted great. It was old and even the appearance was gross. The fresh product is firm and more towards a white color. This was brownish and the skin was falling off, see photo. Never by again. I wish I could get a replacement.

Pretty good Li Hing Mui
I grew up eating see moi as a kid and was fortunate enough to pass by the Crack Seed Store in Kaimuki often. Their stuff was the absolute gold standard but I live a long, long way from Hawaii and so getting pretty good Li Hing Mui is not easy and is usually expensive. This allows me to satisfy my 'jones' at a reasonable price. If they could only make rock salt wet Li Hing Mui as I remember it, then I could further overindulge.

This is yummy
I have always loved these as a kid. When in Arizona there was this a little store across the Colorado river that sold mui seeds. After i moved north to the San Francisco/Oakland bay area they were hard to find. Once i saw these again in Hawaii i could not resist. Now on Amazon I don't have to venture far to get a snack i had as a kid..
