DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
This root - a replacement for the previous root that arrived broken into 3 pieces - arrived broken into 6 pieces. Extremely disappointed. Roots must be shipped in boxes not envelopes. Done.Terrible customer care, terrible quality. Dead on arrival.

As advertised. Its bare root has 3-5 eyes, looks alive.
As advertised. Its bare root has 3-5 eyes, looks alive. I have planted it, very shallow. I'm looking for fragrant plants. I have not found this potted up and growing or I would have bought it.Update planted as instructions at the top of the dirt, live looking areas above soil level, between my house and garage in a bright shaded area receives an hour of morning sun, nothing. No growth at all disappointed but watering and waiting (praying too)

My Duchess De Nemours peony shows a lower than expected sign of life.
I purchased one Duchess De Nemours peony in Sept.ember and other in November. I planted each immediately upon receipt. Now, in late March ,the November-planted one is beginning to emerge. The September -planted one is still "dead as a doornail," but I have not given up hope of it waking up and showing some sign of life.
