Adequate for people who don’t do a lot of copying
I purchased this Canon PIXMA TR7020a desktop copier to replace an older Canon Maxify that I just could not get connected to my new home internet. This one was very quick & easy to connect. It has a few less bells & whistles than the old one, but does have one feature I really missed in the Maxify which is 2-sided copying. I’m going to enjoy this particular capability. I agree that the body is sort of thin plastic. However it’s just me using the machine so less chance of accidents happening (I hope!). It fits nicely on a small table in the dining room where I use the laptop. The printer was described as refurbished but appears to be totally new based on the packing & pristine condition. The seller got it to me one day quicker than anticipated, too. Altogether I’m very pleased! We’ll see how the printer holds up & how easy it is for me to use.

Sometimes cheaper to replace these then to fix them
Great product great price definitely have to shop around for a good value as these can fluctuate in price. I love how quiet it is easy to connect and good feature-rich sets of capabilities and printing quality. I've used these for years with good expected life cycles

The Scanner Works Great!
I am overall very happy with this printer/copier/scanner. It was definitely worth the $99 I paid for it, but of course there are a few quirks. I researched a good deal before buying and noticed many reviews stating that this printer does not scan. That didn't make sense to me since I saw it had an automatic document feeder and was advertised as having a scanner. When setting up the printer it took me through printing and copying, but the instruction booklet that came with it said NOTHING about scanning! I did a quick google search and found that you need to acces the "IJ Scan Utility" that was probably downloaded to your computer during the setup. Once I found that app all was wonderful. I love that I can now scan multiple pages. So, yes, this printer DOES have a scanning feature. The 3 stars I give for tech support is because I had to go looking for the instructions and wasn't provided them in the instruction manual.

The printer works
This Canon printer prints very good, had no problems in the 3 years we’ve had it…..It prints easily & has many options, printing both sides of paper if needed…..I would recommend….

Multiple Issues - Paper tray, Scanning, re-connecting to WiFi, powering off, Noise
This Printer is a Time Suck... I did not buy a printer to practice my troubleshooting skills every time it's used; and you shouldn't either!Constant errors on the paper tray from day 1. Even when I thought I figured out a trick (why should I have needed to figure out a "trick" for a printer): errors came up again and again and then it got worse. It would stop printing mid-print-job. It was really noisy and took about 3-5 minutes to turn on a minute to turn off. I tied the multiple page scanner once; though all 3 pages went through the scanner only one page was actually scanned.Multiple resets didn't help. I also had to re-config WiFi setting after the WiFi was previously detected. The times I did get it to print, it was after much effort and wait time. Not worth your time or the hassle.
