Great overview of our monetary system
I found this book very informative and a really easy read. It doesn't get too deep in the weeds to follow along but provides context for where we are and where we might be headed.

A good start to learn about the Bitcoin network
This was well written and made sense even though it was my first exposure to Bitcoin. There was one spelling error early on that was annoying but I got past it and finished the book quickly. It’s gotten me interested in learning even more about Bitcoin

A must read!
Justin Rezvani provides a cautionary tale for the harmful effects of modern day censorship. His analysis on how bitcoin can help combat the powerful forces that seek to restrict freedoms is incredibly enlightening. As a tenured faculty at a major research state university, I felt his book ties deeply to the ongoing discussion about the need for academic freedom and ability to put forward ideas not inline with popular opinions.Unapologetic Freedom is a must read for all who care about our constitutional rights of privacy, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

There Is a Lot to Like About This Book
Unapologetic Freedom had received 50 reviews by the time I wrote mine, a result of very good marketing. The book has its strong points. It's easy to read. It makes the concepts simple for people new to bitcoin. And it's well-designed, well-written, and attractive cover to cover. The typography and chapter headings are also very well done for a self-published book. The author makes a good case for bitcoin in fighting censorship, peer governance, and providing creators with more power and control over their creations. However, it's obvious to any close reader that the point behind the book is to sell the author's social media platform Zion, which utilizes bitcoin's Lightning Network. After being a customer of Zion for about a year now, I still haven't figured out what I can do with it. Maybe Justin Rezvani should write a book about that.At 128 pages, the book is quite short, but it's probably as long as it needs to be. It's biggest weakness is its bitcoin maximalism. Rezvani doesn't mention other cryptocurrencies or cryptosocial networks, many of which provide the same benefits he touts in Unapologetic Freedom. While he and I share the same values in terms of liberty, sovereignty, and control over one's own digital assets, we would part at the place where bitcoin is touted as the only means of getting there. The book is good, but it's not great.

Mostly a battle cry, read it anyway
Before watching a YouTube interview with the author, I wanted to read his book. As of April 25, 2022 it’s very current and relative to the space. If you think the world seems upside down, this book may lead you down a road to learn more. There is an online revolution coming! Whether Justin has “hit the nail on the head”, only time will tell. He definitely references many great works that can give the reader a better understanding of fiat and the challenges we face online. I personally hope his vision is right.
