Did not work as it should
Item packaging was good and delivery by Amazon was as expected excellent. Item when unpacked was disappointing, it looked second hand with deep scratches to bed plate covering pad and no replacement. There was no user guide for actual printing and maintenance. The print nozzles were both clogged with used filament one of which proved hard to clean properly. Calibration and bed levelling proved to be impossible due to not homing, just a vibration when limit was reached therefore no printing could be carried out. Overhaul disappointed as this is a first in all the years of being an Amazon customer that I have had a product fail. I had previously had a Creator Pro and this was bought as a upgraded model, which I expected to be of the same standard.

Good printer for the price, Poor printer for IDEX and modding.
Ive had my Pro 2 for around 3 months and of all the printers ive owned, this is my absolute least favourite to use. In the interest of fairness, ill list both pros and cons before going into more detail.Pros:-out of the box the printer seems to work pretty well-for the price, you cant buy a better IDEX printer-Build quality is so-so. Ive had significantly better and ive had slightly worse.Cons:-stock nozzles are not great, microswiss makes the only quality nozzle for this printer. Brass is not suitable for PETG or Flex filaments-Removing the heat break tube damages both the tube and the cooling assembly ireperably. If you need to remove the heat break you will need to buy replacements for around £100 GBP before import fees.-Bendy X/Y assembly, its not very sturdy.-its very noisy, you cannot disable the beeps that happen when the printer is turned on/completes a print.-Low quality stepper drivers. They use old style drivers which produce worse prints and are significantly louder than even the cheapest silent stepper drivers-No options to adjust e-stepping-no option for mesh bed levelling. not strictly necessary but quite useful when...-bed slowly unlevels itself over the course of several prints-proprietary everything. Flashforge seems very insistant that you use their filament. the filament holder is designed to accept flashforge filament spools and only flashforge filament spools-Bed does not release prints when finished. Its incredibly difficult to remove prints. the bed is non-removable so you just have to tug and scrape until the print comes loose.-The optional top cover arrived warped and pops off every now and again for no apparent reason.-no support for third party firmware such as Klipper or marlin.Overall, i must say im feeling the buyers remorse at this point. I can no longer return the printer so my only option is to tear the thing to pieces and try and build a custom idex printer from the ashes. I think this printer may work fine if for some reason you NEED idex but dont intend to use filaments other than flashforge PLA and dont mind re-levelling after almost every print because of all the tugging and scraping needed to remove the prints. Overall, this printer seems to be a particularly ugly stain on flashforges otherwise decent record.
