This is a great combo that really worth the money, obviously you won't get a professional sound but for 50 bucks what are you waiting for? If you want a piece of ambient sound when you're boating, with no doubt this is what you need

Needed a new radio for our boat, this one seemed like a good budget with good reviews. After installing it, I could see why the reviews were so good. This radio was simple to install and had everything you could need. It feels like it is built out of good quality. Blue tooth has good range. It automatically pairs to your phone when the boat is turned on. The speakers that came With it I did not need. After plugging them in I could tell a difference in the quality and ended up using those.

I used this kit to make a stereo for my SXS. Its works as it should. Bluetooth connectivity is fast and responsive. Sound quality is as to he expected for the price range. Overall good purchase.

Pit in my boat works well

It's only been installed a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to longevity. But for $60ish dollars, it's a great unit. Receiver is well worth the price by itself - the speakers are fairly meh but it's hard to be too judgmental given the price point. I was replacing some 15 year old Kenworths which were blown and weather beaten all the hell - well, as it happens, they still sounded better with the new receiver than the new ones do. Slight bummer there. But, really, it's unfair to expect a $60 radio & speaker set to sound like a speaker that costs $30-40 by itself. And the included speakers work just fine. I suspect the unit is not very water proof - luckily I already had a weathertight cover that closes securely over the receiver from the old unit. I would strongly recommend getting one as it is not included in the kit and if the radio is exposed to the elements, I have little doubt it would die almost instantly. If it is mounted into some sort of cabinet, I assume it would be fine. The remote is a nice touch. I thought it silly at first but as it happens, it makes it much easier to adjust the radio without having to pop open the weather proof cover.

PRODUCT INITIALLY APPEARS TO BE DECENT CONSIDERING THE PRICE. INSTALLATION WAS EASY. FIT RIGHT INTO THE SLOT OF THE OLD RADIO AND USED TO THE SAME CONNECTOR AS THE OLD ON. JUST HAD TO SPLIC NEW SPEAKER WIRES INTO THE OLD ONES. USED STEREO ON TWO OCCASIONS AND WORKED OK. SOUND QUALITY NOT THE BEST AT THE HIGHER RANGE, BUT YOU NEED TO EXPECT THAT OUT OF A CHEAPER UNIT. REMOTE MUST BE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF UNIT TO WORK, SO THAT'S KIND OF LAME. THIRD TIME I USED IT, DOCKED THE BOAT AND SHUT THE RADIO OFF ALONG WITH THE OTHER ELECTRONICS. CAME BACK TO BOAT ABOUT AN HOUR LATER AFTER GETTING SOME FOOD. RADIO WILL NO LONGER TURN ON AT ALL. I HAVE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS DIAGNOSTIC EXPERIENCE SO, I WILL SOON INVESTIGATE. HOWEVER I BELIEVE IT IS UNLIKELY TO BE AN ELECTRICAL CONCERN OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT CONSIDERING THE CIRCUMSTANCES. SO ON THAT NOTE, VERY DISAPPOINTED AS I ONLY USED ON 3 OCCASIONS AND IS NO LONGER OPERATIONAL. IF I HAD BETTER LUCK AND GOT A YEAR OR TWO OUT OF IT I WOULD SAY IT WAS COMPLETELY WORTH THE PRICE. BUT, AT THIS MOMENT IT SEEMS TO BE A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

Works great and easy to install

Nice little stereo easy to install speaker quality could be better but for the price you get what you got I would recommend it.
