Working with Algebra Tiles (2nd Edition)

I had the tiles but no activities or workmates to move from concrete —>representational—>abstract. The book goes step by step through Algebra basics with activities to complete whole group, small group, paired and individually. Finding guides for upper grades in math is difficult and I recommend this one.

I really like this book. It has the right mix of explanations, practice and review. The review tends to be partner games. You most definitely need the algebra tiles to go with this book. I teach middle school math intervention.

Seems like a nice resource but it’s not a perfect for my curriculum. I wish I hadn’t purchased it.

I used this book together with algebra tiles (bought separately) to teach my studeants how to add, multiply, and factor polynomials. My students really enjoyed the lessons and they said they really understood the concepts.

I love the book activities to use with the algebra tiles.

I missed the return window, but I would would like to return this item today if possible because I bought it by mistake. Thanks!

The illustrations are wonderful and the instructions are clear and precise.
