My primary cookware is All-Clad. I bought this because I wanted an extra pot to cook up sauces in, I caught it on sale for a great price My Misen saucier was never meant to be for everyday use, but that's what it's become.So here's the blasphemous part of the review: I prefer this to my All-Clad stainless steel cookware in every way. It heats more evenly, feels sturdier, the handle is more comfortable, and it just plain looks better.I had reservation about getting Chinese cookware, I've been loyal to Made in America All-Clad for a decade, however any concerns I had quickly disappeared.I am so thoroughly impressed by Misen that I may even prefer it over All-Clad even if it were priced the same. Though, perhaps I'm speaking too soon, I've only had this one saucier for half a year, my All-clad D3 has been kicking for 10 years and has proven as indestructible as the claims.

My go-to cookware is usually All-Clad. However, the All-Clad saucier was way too expensive and I found this one on Amazon. I was impressed with the weight of it and the fact that the cladding was completely through (not just a disk on the bottom of the pan). I like the slope of the sides and the handle is at an angle that fits comfortably without having to reach. If you make a lot of sauces or gravies, a saucier pan is an absolute MUST! The sloped sides allow you to stir and whisk without sauces getting stuck in 90 degree corners and burning or clumping.I understand that pans and pots of this quality are a bit pricey - however, as someone who has cooked for over 50 years, I can truthfully say that pans and pots like this are the LAST ones that you will ever need. They literally last a lifetime as long as you care for them properly.Because the cladding is all the way up the sides (and this is important no matter what brand you buy), the pot will always heat evenly and disperse the heat throughout whatever you are cooking. This makes a HUGE difference in the ease and quality of your cooking. I give this pan an A+

Great pot. I love the shape of this pot. Wonderful for soups and sauces. I had a 1 quart and a 3 quart so this 2 quart really comes in handy. I usually only cook for 2. Worth the money. I find the shape of the pot makes my food look more appetizing wether on the stove or on the table. .

This pan was an investment for me. I've always wanted a dedicated sauce pan and I finally took the jump. While I'm a sucker for pretty things, this time I went for function over form and got the pan that promised the best function at the best price.This thing is amazing. I can hold a consistent, gentle, even heat for as long as I like. I've never had such perfect control. I made caramel and it was *absolutely* perfect. For the first time in my life, it wasn't a struggle to maintain the temperature.The stainless steel is bulletproof and so smooth. Cleanup has been a breeze and I don't say that lightly.This pot has convinced me to go for quality more often. When you boil it down, our cooking accessories are our tools and great tools make the craft SO much easier.She looks fairly plain, but I love her so much she's earned an honored spot on the pot rack.

Takes a long time to ship. Once sent it came quickly. Well made and a good small pot.
