The key is to get 2 or 3 uses and refill it. Also store it upside down always. For hot days is a chef kiss. The guasha was very plastic like an didnt have a stone feel to it but does the work

LOVE the ice roller - Gua Sha is just OK
The ice roller is DEF the reason to buy this product. If you’re buying it for the Gua Sha, you should look for a different product.The ice roller is a little tricky to open without cracking the ice in half - but if you are patient and run it under warm water, it should be just fine. The trick is to warm only the top half of the container so it will slide right off.So far I’ve used water and coffee in the ice roller, both are great! The frozen coffee is perfect for the mornings to help wake up your face and soothe any puffiness or swelling from sleeping. I’m excited to try one with aloe Vera this summer!I knew the Gua Sha wasn’t going to be the best quality - the advertisement even tells you that it’s not rose quartz. It’s just plastic. It still does a decent job, it’s just way thinner than I prefer.

Not worth buying.
I want to like the ice mold so bad but it is just not user friendly. The first time I over-filled it and it was hard to open, I just let it run under warm water. But that is counter productive because it just melted the ice. The second time I did not over-fill it but it was still hard to open and it broke in half (pictured). Also, the gua-sha is plastic and is used. You get what you pay for. I just went to Wal-Mart and got a gua-sha. Looking for a different ice mold to buy from Amazon. I’m returning these products.
