Yes they are "Made in China"However, they are the most convenient, versatile reusable shopping bags I have ever owned. The sizes are fantastic, the insulated bags holds a ton of stuff. I prefer to unload my car in one trop and even with my previous reusable bags it wasn't always possible. It is with these. got a set for Christmas and bought my daughter a set for Mothers Day! Will be very handy if the new Aldi ever opens near my house!

Very sturdy bags that nicely fit together. They do exactly what is advertised and make shopping easier as you can pre-sort the groceries both to put on the belt and then for putting away when you get home. The bags are deep and also quite wide, so they have to fit across a full sized shopping cart--two if you are going to unload and reload them. They certainly seem strong; I had 24 cans of pop in one and there was no stretching or damage on the bottom. Just be sure you have the space to store something this large and can manage it in the cart while shopping.

After reading the reviews I started working on making some myself out of canvas. That was difficult, so I gave in and ordered a set. I expected to make adjustments but gave them a trial run as received. The reviews are right. I almost took out a row of shampoos, and a little girl's eye. The sticks need to be long to stay on the cart, but are unwieldy and a hazard. So I cut the sticks down, and ran a bungy through the tube. The right size bungy is important here. You want to leave those short so that the hooks don't get caught on the cart over and over. Another fix was covering a semi-rigid plastic sheet with parachute nylon as a bag bottom to give some stability. That helped the bags to stay open, so I didn't even need bungies on both sides of the bag. For that side I just cut down the stick and sewed the ends of the bag shut. I took off the extra handle (there are already 8). I do wish the bag handles were a little shorter (like me) but I am not thrilled with how difficult that will be to fix, so will probably leave it. I love the idea, and I'm sure the creators have tried many iterations, each with its own drawbacks, but this worked for me.

These trolley bags are great.Very well constructed.One is even made for the colder items since it's insulated.Very easy to handle.So much better than some older ones that I used to have.Very pleased with the set of bags and also with the items being received as listed on Amazon.I will buy again when needed more.

I absolutely LOVE the Lotus Trolley Bags set. So much so, that I also bought the large club-cart set as well as the produce bags.This company has prevented over 3 million plastic bags from entering the environment. I feel like I am doing my part now too.I typically get anxiety when grocery shopping, especially when it comes to checkout. I cannot express how much these bags have helped reduce my anxiety. I put all my products in the bags while I shop, and when I checkout I simply empty one bag at a time and refill them as I go. I was not expecting to save time by purchasing and using these items, but I truly do each time I shop now.I love the produce bags so much. We have been buying less processed foods as we have made a significant increase in our produce purchases. I felt guilty using plastic produce bags, but I did not like the idea of my fruits and vegetables being loose in a shopping cart. I love that there are several sizes to choose from so I can use them for anything from garlic to oranges to pineapples.One of my produce bags was defective upon receipt of purchase. I reached out to the company directly to ask if I could return it for a replacement. I have never received such quick, respectful, and compassionate customer service. Amanda communicated with me via email and within minutes processed a shipment for a replacement bag. She even let me keep the defective one and sent a couple extra bags as a thank you for my purchases.I will recommend this company to all my friends and family, and I will be purchasing again because they are just that amazing.Thank you Team Lotus!!

At the Register: I didn’t think it thru. I shopped at Aldi. I thought I could use it so the cashier would just easily throw my items into the bags and make it go quicker. But it wasn’t so smooth. Think about it - you have all your items in the bag and placing items on the conveyor, you have to wait til all your items are out of the bags and by then, your items are already in the second cart. So it kind of became more difficult and awkward. BUT I SUPPOSE maybe if I had all my items outside the bags and gave the bags to the cashier to put in the second cart maybe it’d be smoother, but the way it doesn’t fit so easily would probably take more time and be a nuisance. I will keep trying to figure out a better way to use itTearing: I used it for the first time today. I wasn’t doing huge grocery shopping so I brought just one regular and the other the cooler bag. It didn’t tear but I realized when I lifted it off the cart it was heavy. So that is a plus it didn’t rip with the weight.Fit: it didn’t fit easily. I made it work, but it was a hassle upon beginning my shopping. I felt weird with itAll-in-all, I think I just need to figure out a better way to use it and maybe even without the rods. I want to hope it was worth it. But it kind of feels like it wasn’t because you could literally use any other reusable bag THE SAME WAY BUT the bigger size of these bags is nice I am hoping it lasts. I kind of felt dumb with it

What a great product. Takes up a whole lot less room in car, hold a decent amount of groceries, and helps organize. Recommend for anyone to replace the massive amount of bags we all have amassed..
