Korean cold noodles + Samyang fire sauce
For the uninformed, Koreans eat cold noodles! Samyang brand decided it would be interesting to take the fire noodles and apply this familiar cuisine. I figure if you’re not used to cold noodles, this isn’t appealing at all. The Samyang Ice version’s noodles are thinner and reportedly 10% spicier (according to other online reviews) however I can’t confirm the spicier part. I personally think the cold noodles and the Samyang fire sauce is a wonderful combination. I find the cold noodles so soothing in contrast to the extreme heat of the sauce. Surprisingly, the thinner noodles work super well for the cold. I can’t imagine eating the original fat noodles cold. Love this fire noodle type!

the noodles taste just like the spicy ramen, but eating the noddle's cold, would not recommend at all.

Weird concept, I'll stick to the hot noodles
After cooking them in boiling water, resting them in cold icy water for a few minutes, and draining them, I put the sauce packets, stirred, then had a bite. First impression: it was weird. I'm a great fan of their hot variants (my favorites are the curry and the 2X Hot) and I felt this one had no hot/spicy flavor whatsoever. Just for the hell of it, I cooked another pack (bought the 5-pack bag) the same way I would've cooked the hot ones and it was delicious.

Very delicious
I love these noodles, you don’t have to eat them cold if you don’t want to. I tried it and didn’t really mind if it wasn’t hot or cold so I ate them either way. The taste is similar to the original noodles but somehow different. One pack of sauce might be too much for you so I recommend using a third of the packet to make it bearably spicy

Poor handling
Noodles showed up shattered in a million pieces. It's like eating fried rice.

It's really good but I'm on a diet now so I can't buy this again til my fitness is much better.I actually rinsed the noodles in cold water after boiling it. Everyone uses ice but I don't really need to since cold water is just fine.

Didn't really enjoy them
I'm going to tell you guys how I prepared this noodle because it seems like there's some confusion. It's super simple!1. Boil water and cook the noodles to the consistency you prefer2. Drain noodles and add them to cold (preferably ice) water3. Let it sit in the water for around 5-10 minutes, drain out the water if the heat from the noodles starts to warm it up(You can also just wash the noodles under cold running water)5. Drain the noodle and plate with the sauce packets(BE SURE TO DRAIN IT WELL OR YOUR SAUCE WILL GET WATERY)I was super excited to find these at my local Asian supermarket but to my disappointment, they're not as good as I imagined. The sauce is very similar to the original fire noodle sauce; I would say they're probably the exact same sauce. The only difference really is that the noodles are not as thick and therefore not as chewy. They are more like the noodles found in the cup noodle version of the fire noodles. I've tried every other fire noodle flavor and this is my least favorite one. It's still spicy, albeit the least spicy of all the flavors imo, but since the noodles are cold, it doesn't seem that hot and you don't have to deal with it being spicy AND burning with heat in your mouth.I think that the whole thing with it being cold instead of hot made it less appetizing to me because I love eating my noodles within minutes after they're finishing cooking so that they're still steaming hot. This might not be the case for you though if you love cold noodles! ^^I bought these for $5.99 at the supermarket so I'd recommend trying to find it in person first before buying off Amazon. Honestly, you could just use the cooking instructions above for any fire noodle flavor and it'd essentially be the "ICE" version so, it's really up to you if you want to try this.
