The Modern Kama Sutra: The Ultimate Guide to the Secrets of Erotic Pleasure

After spicing things up with Kinky Sex: The Secret to Long-term Desire (a very hot book by the way) I wanted to learn a few more positions. Of course, the Kama Sutra instantly sprang to mind, so I Googled it and found this book.Unlike the original Kama Sutra, this edition is more of an updated sex how-to book. Having said that, it is still beautifully illustrated, with tasteful pictures that won't make either of you feel uncomfortable. There's some good information here, all well-written in a highly accessible style.All in all a classy, intriguing read which I think most people would feel comfortable sharing with their partner without feeling awkward. Highly recommended for couples who want to start slowly down the path to sexual exploration.

This very well illustrated book is by far the best Kama Sutra visual book out there; their not changing anything but using what's essential to the Modern Society we live in and removing the not so essential, there main concentration is this book is demonstration more than literal which is great for use males. Pictures are very well photographed, detail literacy is precise and understandable. Personally I choose this book over the Joys of Sex and if I had the opportunity to change option, I would do it all over again. Modern Kama Sutra at it's potential! Well worth possessing, and I'm honest not a liar. If it's literacy your looking for than this is not for you but if it's demonstration than this if for you.

I bought this book to liven some things up in the bedroom with my wife. Turns out, I was doing a lot of these things. The book was a good reminder, but I don't see us breaking it out much. Nevertheless, there are some good ideas for those who either are not creative in the sack or are inexperienced.

Yes, just yes. This is not the most indepth kama sutra guide ever but it explains it well enough that me and my partner had no problem getting into it and enjoying kama sutra positions for the first time (with pictures, pretty hot pictures but not obscene like some others suggest - it's a sex book people, it's going to show people in sexual positions, but it's not like hustler or hard core material, and you don't see anything below the belt besides normal rear ends). We still use it for reference every few nights and will be looking into more advanced guides soon. This met all my expectations and more, but I don't know about "ultimate" guide.

This was a late night purchase by y girlfriend and I to be honest and I wasn't expecting anything amazing, just badly drawn cartoons and numerous different positions that look impossible and painful.But after this book finally arrived and we both had a chance to read it, we were pleasantly surprised.It was not only very well written and the pictures were well taken and tasteful, but the book had so much interesting information apart from the obvious. It wasn't cheesy or cheap, but classy, interesting, informative and erotic.If this is your first book of this nature i highly recommend.

Although this book did have the positions and other information it advertised, I was highly disappointed by the sexism of the authors. This book contained 136 breasts and 6 vaginas, yet ZERO penises. There was an entire section devoted to genitalia in which it showed a full nude body of a woman, yet for the man's section, it showed a man hidden by a sheet. I was very disappointed by this because it is a book about sex and a penis should be shown just as much as a vagina. As a woman, I was highly offended by the sexism of the author (even though his wife co-wrote it with him) and the excessive amount of female nudity in contrast. There were random pictures of naked women for no reason, and still, no male nudity. Very sexist and I am highly disappointed in the false advertising.

I don't know what everyone's complaining about - the positions don't require abnormal flexibility. If you need a little stretching beforehand, well, that's half the fun of it! It's not a chore ladies, and this is all doable - well, I wouldn't take on anyone outside the couple, but, as far as the rest of it - woo hoo! But really, there isn't much new material here. It is artfully done though. Very nice book. Makes you curious enough to look into the original three...

This book suggests quite a few positions that I've seen in other sex books, but a few completely unique ones that I haven't seen before. Beware of quotes from the original karma sutra though! The author was entirely misogynistic. I didn't read the book— I looked at the pictures and tried whatever I could see. If there are tips on how to make it better or how to do it right, I don't know because I didn't read it. The pictures are extremely erotic though and very fun to look at. Very good quality

Pictures are not too, well, graphic but it is very clear what is going on... The level of detail is also appreciated! A very good read, with immediate results... although practice is needed to perfect techniques

Going through reading this book, I was enlightened on how Kama Sutra can change our lifestyle physically and emotionally. And yes, women must also be knowledgeable about sex.This book opened the door for me to explore for Kama Sutra that is very helpful for couples in lengthening their healthy relationship. That’s why, I do appreciates Veronica White for being brave enough to share the deepest secrets of a man and a woman in their moments of intimacy, just like masturbation and the various love making techniques and tricks on them to enjoy life and even master the art of sex to the fullest.
