Wilton Decorator Preferred Separator Plate, Sturdy Cake Stacking Plate for Tiered Cakes & Wedding Cakes, 10 in, White

This is an excellent quality cake separator for tiered cakes. This one is for a 14 inch cake. It leaves just the scalloped edge if you have a -4 inch cake. I like it also for a 12 inch cake so there is extra space when i use this as the bottom tier. It has the four legs on the bottom for adding pillars if you so choose. You can use it as just a cake plate for your larger round cakes. Although i wish they made this size without the feet, as it is too unstable to put on a spinning table for decorating... The legs are too slippery and slide easy. I cant imagine stacking larger than 14inches so why they would need the pillar feet anyway, I dont know. I like having the nice heavy duty plastic instead of buying the cardboard rings that are not as sturdy especially when you have 3-4 tiers.

I already have the larger size and just needed a smaller one. Great for serving cakes, just put foil or wax paper on top. when not in use I use it on my counter to hold my salt, pepper, sugar etc. I put a colored round place mat on top. Change mat color to match the holidays

I'm getting Married in August and needed these for the wedding cake. Just what I needed awesome!

I loved this product. It took part in the wedding cake I made for my daughter's wedding. I am looking forward to using again soon. I'd put up a picture but I'm not sure I can. Sorry.

The wilton 302 10 decorator preferred round plates are the best, I have always used wilton products and this one is just the same quality
