Game changing. Finally found the right solution.
It fits great in my 2020 Subaru Forester. I have TWO 100 lbs dogs that ride with me quite a bit and I love this thing! I went through 2 or 3 of the hammock style ones which they blew out the straps on pretty quick, and tried several makeshift and one commercially produced options for trying to fill in the gap, and one hammock/gap filler combo, all of which were pretty spectacular failures and resulted in one of the dogs kept getting his legs jammed in down there, the insueing panick would then prompt the chill dog to want to migrate up to the front seat to escape the shit show. It was a mess. Add to that the fact that those solutions were all unwieldy, hard to maneuver, eat up a ton of space - whether in use or not, they even blocked access to the pockets on the backs of the front seats where I keep all my shopping bags.I really thought that this thing would not work by itself. I thought I would need to layer a hammock one underneath it, or it would still need some kind of gap filler to give it support. No way did I think it would support 200lbs of dogs on its own.But I was 100% wrong. It’s fantastic! I’m a little nervous about the straps per other reviews but we’re three months in and going strong with frequent use. So it’s already blown the competition away. Also, not using ANY support or filler underneath and no problems at all. Which means I can still access my shopping bags, and I can use the space under the bridge to put stuff I don’t want in the way back. And I can easily fold it up if I need to use my back seat; I’m not wrestling with these fillers and then have to find someplace to put them. Most importantly though - it’s lowered the dog anxiety level by a factor of 10 which makes it worth every penny!

My dogs love it and I’m happy too.
Great purchase. I have an 80 lb lab mix and a 14-yr old, 70 lb senior lab. The bottom is solid with plenty of space for both dogs giving them a level surface across the entire backseat and over the footwell. No more dogs falling or stumbling off the backseat into the footwell, particularly an issue and a danger with my senior dog. Very easy to install/uninstall and fits the space perfectly and securely. It is also great for keeping the back seat clean and, unexpected benefit, a flap along the backside of the front seat deters dogs trying to climb into the front seat. My only minor complaint is that the fabric that covers the the floor portion is a bit slippery, so I added a cheap rubber backed throw rug to give the dogs better traction. Wish I had gotten this years ago.

Amochien Bridge + Large Dog + Van
PRODUCT: I purchased the “Amochien Backseat Bridge for Dogs” from Amazon. Arrived on time and in good packaging. The product was received inside a reusable drawstring bag, which was wrapped inside a giant zip seal plastic bag. It also included 2x seatbelts for dogs. Overall, it felt like a sturdy, quality product.FIT: platform width was a perfect fit to the 2nd and 3rd row seats of my Honda Odyssey van. The head rest straps were not aligned with my van’s headrests. This was understandable since my van is wider than a car would be and the straps were adjustable to extend just far enough (to the max) to clasp shut and secure in place. The seat covers, under the headrests, were the correct height to cover just below the headrest and all the way to the fold of the seats. I absolutely like the flexibility to fold 3/2/1 seating. This is important for when seats can be folded away in various combinations, depending on space needed.STURDY WEIGHT: I was worried about how it would hold up to my 3 yr old 70 lbs GSD. So, I installed it as soon as I opened the box to test with my dog (see attached pictures). I had my dog walk, stand, sit and lay down on it. It seems to holdup very well. I didn’t see signs that it would cave in at the bridge (suspended over floor via headrest straps only). It gave my dog additional room and comfort. So much so he didn’t know what to do with the new space when I took him for a test drive.LARGE DOG: PRO-my dog had room to freely walk about the ‘cabin’ and lay down comftably/confidently. He’s now able to hang his head out the window without the need to use my van doors to prop him up. Con-my Dog can still reach the driver side console, if he chooses to do so. But I didn’t buy this for that reason (he is obedient). But, I still recommend getting a divider to keep the boundaries clear for everyone in the van (I found a divider that I believe can easily move from 2nd to 3rd row use).DOG HAIR/MESS: Finally, to the nittygritty... all gsd owners know how notorious this dog breed is with shedding hair and large paws. In my dog’s case, dirty paws (from the park, beach, rain, mud, etc.). I’m happy to report that even with the open windows blowing his fur all around the van during our test drive, the hair remained OFF the floors. See picture showing covered seats WITHOUT the dog. This was taken after our 1st test drive. Yes, those hairs are from ONE short test drive. NO HAIR ON THE FLOOR!

Finally, a well designed Seat cover system!
After buying LOTS of ~$25 seat covers over the last 20 years to "protect" the rear seats from our various dogs, and eventually throwing them all out, this one is almost perfect for us. Well built and designed, fits mid-size- full size 2 row vehicles almost perfectly. Very strong fabric, very strong buckles and straps, and 2 seats belts for the dogs. The only thing I'd suggest needs more design work is the straps on the sides that are designed to hold the door protectors up. They work, but need some more thought to keep them away from the dogs head/neck as they are looking out the side windows. For us, the fabric is stiff enough to protect the doors without the straps, so we'll just not use them for now.

Exactly what I wanted
This fits great in my Honda civic, although I think it might present problems for a taller person who wants to put the seat back all the way. That being said it does fold up on either side so it frees up one of the back seats if needed. Its exactly what I wanted for my Lab (almost 1 year old and about 50-55 pounds) and gives her a lot more space. No worries about her falling off the seat and she can reach my seat belt for a “chin rest” since she seems to like my window better than her own. Very sturdy and feels well made. I’ve had to crawl on it a few times with no issues. It’s made a big difference over the past few months with my dog’s anxiety about car rides. While I know she doesn’t love the car, she’s far less nervous and more tolerant of it than she was and I think this is a big part of that.

Very sturdy
The seat cover was much heavier than I expected. The bottom part was well padded. Supports my weight with no depressions. Fits my Cruze to a tee. Very happy well worth the money,

Good quality, sturdy, easy to fit
We have 2 large German Shepherd puppies who use the back seats so we needed more useable space for them to move around. Finding this backseat extender was just ideal. The boarding extends over the backseats and across the footwell, it’s well padded so the pups are cushioned, and, importantly we still have space in the foot wells for storage when we go on holiday. Because the extender is part of a hammock it makes the extender more sturdy and also protects the seats from scrabbling, curious pups, who shake when wet! This product may not be the cheapest available but in my experience you usually get what you pay for, and this is good quality. Recommended.

Fits perfectly for my big sedan
Great, and worth the extra for a quality product. I have had others but my big Weimaraner Toby has made short work of them, and now he doesnt fall between any gaps!

The best back seat dog hammock ever
I was so hesitant to buy this due to the cost but I am so glad I did. I was using 'regular' dog hammock covers for my work vehicle which is bucket seats but the covers always tore through even when placing full boxes underneath the gap. This dog hammock is built so well and sturdy, you would not even know that it extends over bucket seats. My dog is so much more comfortable and safe. The hammock lies flat so that the 'floor' of the hammock is more like a solid floor. It is so easy to install and take down and easily goes back into its carrying case. It also came with two dog harness bungee attachments to keep your dog extra safe. The only minor issue is that it is a little slippery but I placed a nice blanket down on top to help with that.
