I’ve been using In The Swim Pool Basic Opening Chemical Kit for a few seasons now, and it never disappoints! This kit has everything needed to get my pool up and running after winter. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the entire process stress-free. The shock is powerful and does a great job of eliminating any leftover bacteria and algae from winter. The algaecide helps keep the water crystal clear, and the stain and scale preventer ensures my pool equipment stays in great condition. Within a day or two of adding the chemicals, my pool is sparkling and swim-ready! Another great thing about this kit is the value—it’s much more affordable than buying all the chemicals separately. Everything came just as pictured. Chemicals did their job well! Great value for the price. Has lasted us all summer with an above ground best way instant set pool that is 12' by 3' ft. Good instructions for a newbie in pool maintence. Also love that it comes with the oil absorber spunge! We have a manual vacuum and pool skimmer so that helps a lot too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: A decent value, but does not include chlorine tablets or a way to measure the chemicals. I was kind of expecting a good beginners kit that was easier to use. Still comes with most of what's needed
