I should've bought these from the start. I began with the plastic tracks found here on Amazon and the first set snapped within my first outing. The replacement set did the same on my second outing. I purchased these to and have not had any worries since. They are solid with strong T tracks. I riveted them into my kayak as I was confident that they would hold over a lifetime. Do not hesitate to spend a little extra and buy these! Totally worth it!

I have multiple of these on my kayak. I have an 8 foot plain kayak that was made just for kayaking. I’m an avid angler. Didn’t work really well for me at first. I put two of the twelve inch rails on, one on each side, and a four inch length towards the rear of it. Since then I’ve added a couple of rod holders, a paddle holder, and a cleat for an anchor line. I’m on the water every weekend, fishing from my kayak. They’re tough, they’re super useful, and easy to install.

Yakatack "T" headed bolts make mounting placement of rod holders and other boating accessories very convenient. The nice thing is you can easily remove items that are secured using this system so if you have something you dont want damaged or stolen simply loosen the bolts and slide it off the track then when you want to use it slide it back in place and tighten it down. Works for many items from cup holders to fish finders etc. I never realized how useful it was until I had a kayak that had some built in. These aluminum ones are the strongest system.

for what they are, we are getting gouged on the pricethey are good quality pieces but the price is insaneto offset it, I bought the longest ones I could and then cut them in halfthen used my dremel to round off the cut edgesworks just fineused them to add tie down areas for my radar 135 for multi day yaking and camping
