Great Emergency Electric Power Source
The description is slightly inaccurate in that this is really a very big Uninterruptible Power Supply not a generator that burns a fuel. It has 12V 55 Amp Hour SLA/AGM Deep Cycle Battery. That means it has when fully charged 660 Watt Hours of power capacity. You spend that as you need - all in one hour at 660 Watts or longer at lower power. One great thing is it has provision for adding an external 12V 100 AH SLA/AGM Deep Cycle Battery which it will keep charged during normal usage and roughly triples the total Watt Hours available. I use an Interstate Batteries 12V 110 AH SLA/AGM Deep Cycle Battery (also available from Amazon). This also means you can run it inside and it’s essentially silent except when it’s internal cooling fan cycles on.Note that the external battery connection at the rear uses 1/2” oversized lugs (I used 1” wide x 1/8” thick copper bars 2 inches long to adapt to the more typical 3/8 inches battery cable lugs). Use #2 AWG battery cables and a 200 Amp fuse to protect the wiring in the event of a short. Be very careful hooking the external battery up. A 100 AH 12 Volt battery is not a shock hazard, but it is an energy hazard should it be shorted out with a metal short. The Good:(1) Can be used as a big uninterruptible power supply - Just power it on.(2) Can add an external 12 Volt battery up to 100 AH (actually I used 110 AH).(3) Can add 10 Amp solar array to provide charging for camping or a remote cabin.Could Use Improvement:The output is not a pure sine wave. Everything I have tried it with works normally except my Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for my modem and phone. My existing UPS sees the modified sine wave as a power fail and goes into backup mode using its small battery for power. I had to use a UPS switchover box I built to handle this issue and run the small UPS from raw AC power and switches the UPS’s load to the Duracell Power Bank output when the small UPS runs out of power.Note: The Duracell Power Bank even when “off” supplies AC power at its output from the input and charges the battery. I leave mine “off” except when a heavy storm comes through threatening power outages or if the power has gone out. That may or may not extend the life of the converter circuitry as opposed to leaving the Power Bank “On” all the time. I am a now retired electronic engineer and am familiar with reliability calculations…Recently we had a power outage one night during a particularly heavy storm and the power outage lasted about 5 hours. We were able to watch off air TV, etc. which was great. I also have a gasoline powered generator in the garage, but if unused for years they can be hard to start. Last time I used it, by the time I got it running, etc, the power to our neighborhood had come back on…

I bought one if these units in 2020 as a back-up for my kitchen refrigerator. I have been quite pleased as it has provided immediate turn on service for our frequent brown outs that occur especially summers to save my food.I keep it plugged directly into the wall and attached the fridge n one floor lamp to it. That was what 😳 I assumed you buy a battery for. This method has worked fine for my needs.I don't imagine to charge it up, n then leave in a closet or corner til needed. It is heavy, so if you buy this, it will most likely have to go into a dedicated spot w outlet. When power goes off, it turns on to power your devices for continued use.In fact I'm so pleased w it that I'm buying another one as a dedicated back-up power source for just the television n lap-top w monitors.

Epic battery
Great battery! It lasted for our three day craft fair with lights on all day and we didn’t charge it once! Heavy, but worth it

fantastic battery for the price
My wife takes this on film sets and on travel as she has an electric car. It's worked extremely well for every use she's had. It's not without it's faults though; some people state it doesn't have enough power and that can be the case. She has had instances where some higher amperage devices have not functioned well on this unit, but for the price it really is fantastic. The only serious downside is the weight. It's a battery so of course it's going to be heavy; however there really isn't a good way to lift the unit. It's flat, slippery, and while the weight is expected a front and rear set of handles would have been great.

SO DISSAPOINTED !!!
I am so disappointed in this purchase but I was so excited when I purchased it . It only lasted 15 minutes after a full charge …. And I only plugged in an 1000 watt speaker to it . I needed this in case of a black out and now Im gonna need to buy a gas powered generator because this has failed miserably. I will never buy this product again and I can’t even return it smh .Do not buy this product you will be disappointed. This was an experience purchase for me and it was an add on to my survival supplies I can’t survive with this generator . I lost completely on this .
